Gateway Vision
Yesterday I visited Gateway Vision to have my glasses straightened. During my trip from Pennsylvania to Massachusetts for work, I accidentally bumped my wireless frames and bent them considerably. The Gateway optician (Niko, I think) repaired my glasses and wouldn't take the payment I offered. My glasses now fit better than when I first bought them. I highly recommend Gateway Vision. I wish they had a store in PA.

My entire family goes to Gateway. Dr. Hunter is very knowledgeable and works with each person with care. The staff are helpful and positive. Best eye care center I have been with.

The whole team at Gateway Vision are phenomenal, great eye care all around!
I recently broke my glasses right in half. I brought them in and Nigo had a look. He confirmed what I suspected; they weren’t repairable. I was pretty disappointed because my VERY old glasses were painful and out of date. No worries for Nigo though, he worked with me to look up my insurance and helped me pick out frames that would fit my existing lenses. I found some great frames and was in and out in 30 minutes. UNBELIEVABLE care and service, I wish I could leave an extra star. If you want a great team that goes above and beyond, I can’t recommend these guys highly enough!

I've never felt at such ease taking my kiddo to an eye appointment. We've gone to two other places in the past, and the experience was meh. First thing when we walked in the door, we were met with the friendliest of faces and warm greetings right away. The doctor was fantastic and explained everything in detail. I really liked the small atmosphere, compared to the larger practices which lack empathy, and warmth. When dealing with social anxiety, bigger places can be nerve-wracking. Here they made you feel welcome and heard. Definitely recommend it to anyone in the area.

Was visiting family in Mass for Christmas and ended up getting referred here by all my relatives that use Westford Eye Care. They were somehow able to get me in for an appointment and I was seen by the doctor. She was awesome, even working with me to review previous prescriptions and picking the best new script for me. Worked with Kevin (the owner of the practice) after the appointment to pick glasses and he took the time to explain to me how eyes worked at a basic level and what different eye issues mean, and how glasses correct these problems. It was incredibly interesting for a curious person and a level of care for the customer and service I have not experienced before. Kevin explained to me how my vision benefits worked and how to best maximize my savings combining insurance and other sales. Kevin is probably one of the nicest people I have ever met and just inspires trust. They even have a sign that states instead of accepting payment for adjustments to glasses, they'd appreciate a donation to the Lowell Humane Society for animals. To top it all off, they somehow got my new glasses back in three days (!!!!!) in the middle of the pandemic right before Christmas, no less. Do yourself a favor and give these kind folks your business, skip the national chains.

I have been coming here for 25 years. The previous owners(Gene and Jerry) always took good care of me. I am equally impressed with Kevin, the new owner. He is both very friendly and knowledgeable. Last week I was stuck on 495 and he stayed 45 minutes past closing time so I could pick up my new glasses.
Great service and selection, and after all, who doesn't want to see a young entrepreneur succeed?

The office is clean, efficient and courteous. My appointments generally start on time and administrative billing is always well explained. The optometrists are thorough and kind.

Doctors and staff are really good but the men's selection for glasses is very lacking. It was lacking before but even more so now.

Even as a non-client, they were able to get me in for an urgent visit on a Saturday afternoon the same day I called. Their facility was updated and clean and the staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Hiura was excellent and removed the irritation in my eye within minutes of entering the exam room. The location was also quite convenient and will be returning for my routine eye care.

I agree with all the bad reviews given. This place is so unprofessional, I hate calling in; the front desk people are not helpful at all. if I was not in the middle of treatment for glaucoma, I would look for a new eye center.
