Dr. Grattan and her assistant were very nice and helpful. It was the first visiting Atlantis Eye and I was happy with the service.

Although the Doctors are great, the staff is very irresponsible. I was told a few times the appointment is at 4:00pm and when I asked for earlier time perhaps 3:00 or 3:30pm I was told that the Doctor is very busy and can see me only at 4:00pm, then they called to remind me that it is at 4:00pm. After driving 45 min to the clinic I was declined by the lady at the reception desk, claiming they do not have appointments at 4:00pm. What a shame of a clinic to have great Doctors but really incompetent management. If for some reason you overbook, just simply call and I would gladly reschedule, but why have me drive for 45min and be denied. Shame!!!

My children and I have been seeing Dr. Cooper for years. He and his staff are excellent at their jobs and very caring. They have a great selection of glasses. The ladies know their stuff and are always happy to help with insurance, picking out glasses and anything else to make your exam go smoothly and walk out feeling great.

I've been seeing Dr. Gamotis for a several years now and I just wanted to leave this review to let everyone know how great he and the whole staff at Downtown Vision is. I'm older and when I first went to them my teeth were in pretty bad shape. I had several teeth filled and others pulled and eventually a full upper and partial lower dentures. At every step of the process, Dr. Gamotis fully explained the cost and arranged to schedule the work as I could afford to pay for it. Everyone was so very kind and helpful about everything and Dr. Gamotis was so careful about making sure I was comfortable and that the procedure wasn't painful. I would recommend this great Dentist highly to anyone.

I would give Dr. Paul Masi a 10 rating for my experience with him. He is a Master in his craft of Ophthalmology. As a younger than normal patient who had cataracts caused by a past Optometrist in Seymour, CT who prescribes prescriptions with steroids and causing cataracts. I have been a patient of Dr. Masi's for over 3 years, he monitored the cataracts I had. When my vision became the worst ever (20/400) in one of my eyes, Dr. Masi performed cataract surgery with a Toric Lens. I came out of surgery without one broken blood vessel....CLEAR EYES! My vision is 20/20 and I am so thankful for the Professional work he did for me. It is fabulous to be see so clear and sharp. (I do wear cheaters when necessary.) Dr. Masi...THANK YOU SO MUCH! The Hamden, CT office is where I go.

I was called day before appt to reschedule because Dr. Chavez had a family emergency, which was totally understandable. However, when I showed up to the rescheduled appointment a couple weeks later, I was told to reschedule again. I was waiting outside for them to reopen after their lunch. I saw Dr. Chavez enter the office humming to herself. She didn't acknowledge me. A couple minutes later a receptionist came out of the office and told me that unfortunately the Doctor was "fighting an eye infection, that she just can't shake." She told me to reschedule. I said, "again?" I also let her know I would've appreciated a call, maybe before their lunch, so that I didn't have to drive down, as I don't live close by. Not to mention, missing work for the appt. I was not rude, because I know the receptionist is just the messenger, but I was obviously not thrilled to hear the news. Overall, pretty unprofessional of the doctor. She knew how she felt before her lunch and could have easily called me. She also knew I was already there, maybe she could have tried to see one last patient. She looked fine... she was humming happily when she walked in. My family will be going elsewhere from now on.

Howell Av. is not their best store. Tammy yells across the store to greet you (both visits) and then expects you to yell your name back across the store instead of having any resemblance of privacy. The technician who fitted my glasses after receiving them was completely un-interested, she made an audible sigh when I asked if she could tighten the temple ends. The Southridge store was much friendlier and accommodating. Next year I will drive the extra distance to Southridge to get my new glasses.

Dr Bowman performed cataract surgery on my left eye. The surgery went well and lasted about 20 minutes. I was the only patient in the operating room as opposed to having multiple patients lined up awaiting eye surgery. Dr Bowman is a very skilled eye surgeon and the support staff is friendly and extremely professional. 2 weeks later I feel I can see clearly with no side effects. Cornea Associates is the best.

Dr Lewis' staff moves you thru all the prep work quickly and accurately. He reads your history, the measures taken that day by his staff and performs his reviews. I always have questions from that visit and previous visits. He answers all my questions in a way I'll understand. A nice skill. I never feel rushed but the doctor keeps his efforts moving. If you are looking for a good eye surgeon, And strongly recommend Dr.Lewis. I'm a hard sell. He's earned my trust.
