I would completely recommend this place. They are very professional and incredibly welcoming. I needed some small adjustments done to two pairs of glasses, and the owner was kind enough to fix these for me at no cost. His kindness and generosity shines through. I never write reviews, but was blown away by the service here. I visited from out of town and forgot my contacts. Within 10 mins, Manny was able to find my exact lenses in their inventory. He then drove from a different location to drop them off to me at this location at no additional charge. Incredibly communicative and polite the whole time—would give more stars if I could.

I bought new glasses from Carofano Opticians about a year ago. They had the best frames on offer out of any place in New Haven - the perfect blend of stylish and smart. Manny was excellent. He is super friendly, responsive over email, and was patient with me as we adjusted my glasses to fit perfectly. My frames accidentally broke a few months ago, and Carofano Opticians replaced them for free because of the year warranty. I wasn't in New Haven at the time so Manny even shipped the new pair over to my current address. I couldn't recommend Carofano Opticians any more, and I will certainly be coming here for any new glasses in the future.

Dr Maeng did a masterful job helping my wife to deal with the emotional issues regarding the pre-op phases of her recent bilateral decompression eye surgery. Her compassionate bedside manner also helped me immeasurably. I will be posting additional commentary after consulting with Dr Maeng and am in a position to assess the impact of the surgery.

Due to medications I have to have my eyes checked for signs of glaucoma so my regular eye doctor sent me here. It was an extensive 90mins or so string of exams. Very welcoming atmosphere. Doctor Win was a pleasure. He explained everything in laymen terms. His assistant was nice and professional. Everyone was great. It was a nice experience. I watch a lot of srp asmr, and it was nice to get that full experience, but I was about to fall asleep! Lol... looking forward to going back.

Lovely, professional and yet warm environment. I feel in very good hands with Dr. Nguyen. And I am so happy he is helping me take care of my precious eyes and eyesight. I also enjoyed working with Angela in the eye glass department and choosing my new glasses. She was very knowledgeable and so helpful!.

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Diaz for almost 20 years. She's amazing! Her excellent patient care is unwavering! When needed, she goes above and beyond. We never feel rushed and always leave feeling heard and cared for well. Also, she speaks Spanish! <3 Dr. Diaz is a beautiful gift to her profession! Thank you for sharing your excellence with us!

I called for an appointment and received one very quickly. They were very thorough with the exam and I received my glasses in less than 2 weeks. Highly recommend!

The office is clean and very nice. The staff is friendly and kind. Dr Salem was gentle, knowledgeable and thorough. My visits never felt like a sales pitch as it does at other eye care offices.
