Great prices and nice glasses frames! Although he never smiles, he does always give me very good prescriptions for glasses and contacts(have been going to get my prescription since 2006). He does his job nicely and... takes his job very seriously ;) don't expect any unnecessary chit chat/small talk

He forced me to read the letters which i could not read at all. I am not sure what is his system, but I have to go back multiple times for a wrong prescription. End up going to a different optometrist just to get my correct prescription.

I went in and everyone was so helpful! Even reminding me that they don't just wanna send me on my way with glasses they want me to be comfortable with what I wear and use on a daily basis unlike the Santa Rosa location which I felt was force to just settle for what they gave me even when I started throwing up from using the new prescription glasses they had given me. I don't think I'll go anywhere else but here. Highly recommended place. I feel they provide the "care" in Health CARE eye care.

Went to this place but was told we were late and they’re only giving a 5min grace period. They know we were there before that grace period even ends and they were busy with other customers. Waste of time. Never again.

I've been a customer at this Vallejo store for 4 years and it just keeps getting worse and worse. Went to pick up my 2 pairs of my new prescription and they were the wrong prescription. I told the girl who was helping me and she basically told me it was all in my head and that it was a tiny bit stronger of a prescription and that I need to just take them home (40 miles away) and wear them for 2 weeks and if they don't work bring them back. I went round and round with her. She did some basic measurements and told me they were right. I told her I couldn't see anything in my left eye that it was too strong. Long story short, went back 2 weeks later, had the best help from someone else and found out that not only was the pupil off but my prescription was incorrect. I'm a 30 and they had me at a 38 on the left side. This girl at this location who tried to tell me I was crazy and that it was all in my head has no business working there or in customer service. She wants to argue with you and be right. The worst customer service skills!!! This is my last time at America's Best Vallejo or any other A.B.

I have been coming to Dr. Okura for many years. She is amazing. She really cares about you and treats you like an old friend. She makes me and my family feel at ease and she explains everything that is being done. Her staff is also very responsive and knowledgeable about insurance issues.

I have been coming to see Doctor Okura for well Over 15 years. I can say without a doubt that she is the best of the best.
I travel a lot for work , and have had to see other eye doctors while in other states working. None of them have been able to dial in my prescription as well as Dr. Okura.

I absolutely love the doctor. He is very understanding of any concerns and does help and makes sure you understand everything. I appreciate how I don't have to wait a long time to get an appt. The receptionist always answer pretty fast. Fair warning when you have an appt you have the call them to unlock the door and let you in.
Only time I ever had an issue was during covid time for the wait on my medi-cal glasses but its understandable and thankfully I was still able to use the glasses I had at the time.

For my comprehensive eye exam today, it was a fantastic experience. The doctor was extremely detailed on her exam. She answered my questions without rush, and provided additional medical advice on where and what I should go for in regards to my cataract, glaucoma, and floaters. A very important thing to note is that even after I left, the doctor even called to give me further information on floaters. The staff member was also very professional and friendly. She helped me pick out my frames and bifocal lenses with patience. After I finished picking out everything, it was already into their lunch hours. From this, you can definitely see this place’s detailed, professional attitude. For a person that has been wearing glasses for 40+ years, this was a perfect experience.
