My entire family has been going to Dr. Landrum for many years. We have always received excellent care. His office staff is also wonderful.

Dr. Perez is one of the finest OD that I have ever had. He and his staff are absolutely first-class and I am very happy I found him when I moved about 4 years ago!!

I stopped in here over the weekend to see if they could help tighten up a pair of expensive sunglasses I bought since they kept slipping off my nose. I did not purchase them from Marchese, but figured maybe they could tell me if it was even possible to adjust them. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. They immediately helped me, no questions asked, and made sure they adjusted them fitted to my face the way I liked. On top of that, they also cleaned them and didn't charge me a thing! I have bought readers from here before and received the same service then. I highly recommend this store to anyone who needs glasses.

I saw the one other review here that said this place was bad and I almost didn't go, but I am so glad that I did. That other review is definitely not a good one, because my experience was awesome. Better than any other eye care place I've been to. Apparently there have been some good management changes. The staff members here were very friendly and helpful, and the doctor was extremely nice. The place has a sort of casual atmosphere while still remaining professional, and there are plenty of frames to choose from. The entire appointment went very smoothly, and they really worked hard, and were very patient with the confusing process (I kept changing my mind) of getting me the best price on my glasses and contacts. Even when I had a problem with my receipt, where I found an unintended purchase, I called and they sorted the problem out immediately, giving me a refund. It was awesome. I really don't understand the other review for this place. I highly recommend it, and I'm writing this review because I hate to see a nice business like this lose money due to one negative review.

I’ve gone to Dr Lee for years since I’ve an active eye retina disease. He appears to be an excellent doctor. The doctor knew what to do to stop the disease from causing even more damage. With that being said, his Smoke Ranch office must rate very high in wait times.
Hours long waiting time before seeing the doctor are common. You can make an appointment for a certain time, but I’m sure you will be seen by the doctor, in order of arrival, anyway. You’ll wait in an an uncomfortable, crowded waiting room where you’ll likely soon tire of hours of HGTV on the small screen TV. Believe me NO oNE in that office, including the doctor, seem to care how long you wait to be seen by the doctor.

I love coming to 20/15 eyecare. Dr.Lopp is the best. Dr. Simone is exquisite. I have never received the eyecare that I have with them, in my life. The office staff are kind, courteous and caring. They are professional and the glasses are quality and last me forever. Thank you always!

I would not come back to this place, and I wouldn't let my parents go here either. My experience is 1) They overcharge and Don't Credit 2) Long Waits 3) Pain. 4) Don't educate you (the patient)
Things I noticed that may be helpful to you:
1) They advertise it's Dr. Powers' office, but I asked for him, and was not allowed to see him, it's someone else
2) They pay for positive reviews. Have you looked at Yelp? After your appointment, you get a text & email offering a $20 gift card for a positive review by clicking the link. The software only posts the positive reviews
Context: I'm a diabetic and have been getting regular shots in my eyes in Virginia. I was visiting Florida and went to this office to continue getting this same treatment just during my visit to Florida.
1) Overcharge
They require you to pay what they deem your "copay" is up front before your visit. I visited in February.
Office insisted they collect from me: $426.10
Patient responsibility on my EOB: $207.25
As of August, I still do not have my $200+ credit back. Up until June, they said my insurance was still processing. Now they've acknowledged they owe me but their response is now "oh they haven't fixed it in the system yet".
2) Long Waits
In Virginia, my appointments took 45 mins to 1 hour.
At this office, my appointments lasted 2.5-3.5 hours.
3) Painful:
-In Virginia, they use Betadine as an antibacterial to clean my eye prior to my shot. No irritation or issues
-At this office, they use some other solution which was irritating for 3 days. All their pateints experience this so they also provide you with a prescription to treat the irritation it causes.
4) Don't Educate You
None of the staff explains the tests they are performing or why. When I asked, they said "oh we have to". A simple intro of Who-What-Why (I'm ----, we're going to do ---- test, and that will tell the doctor ----) would be nice.
This has dragged on so long now that I've been keeping a record. Since my appointment:
--I've received 3 wrong bills asking for more money. When I call to inquire they say something along the lines of "oh you shouldn't have received that, I'll let them know, your bill is still pending."
--I've called 8 times
--I've emailed 6 times
This started in February and is still ongoing. I'll keep this updated since this continues to drag on.
8/18/23 - Only way I was able to get this resolved was to call the office and ask for the manager's name, then google that name and find their work email address, and email them directly. This is finally resolved, 6 months after my appointment.
