Their billing department is a joke. I’m sorry I stopped taking my son to dr. Toor just because I don’t want to deal with their billing department anymore. They never answer their phone, they never call you back.

I visited Dr Toor today. While I feel she is a competent doctor, I will never go back to her office again. As I was checking out and making my next yearly routine appointment I was told “you owe a $45 retraction fee. Anthem doesn’t think retractions are necessary.” I asked why I wasn’t told this beforehand and the receptionist just shrugged. $45 isn’t going to change my life but I would like to be made aware of charges and make the decision myself about retraction. I told the receptionist I was going to go home and call Anthem to see if they would cover the entire visit as they had last year. I asked Dr Toor’s office to bill me in the meantime. If insurance company said no, then of course I would pay the fee. This is the bigger problem… 1 hour later I received a phone call from Dr Toors office saying I did indeed owe this retraction fee and if I didn’t pay it today THE FEE WOULD BE GOING UP TO $85! I was shocked to be threatened with a higher fee if I didn’t pay now, and repeated that would like to call Anthem and see why they wouldn’t cover this in the first place. I decided to cancel my next years visit. I feel this situation was handled so poorly, I won’t be going back.

I have gone to Oaks OC for several years and have alwways been pleased with the office, staff and Dr Lee as well. They have always given timely appointments and take the time to discuss my eye care needs and my concerns.

I recently had a checkup and bought new glasses. The whole experience was wonderful. The office is very professional and accommodating.

Former Dr. Jacob's patient here. I was hesitant at first about new ownership but once I walked in, it had the same warm feeling it always has. Also glad to see that Dave is still there doing his excellent job he always has. Dr. Yoo took the time to listen to my concerns about my eyes and to offer solutions. I most definitely am happy with the transition and feel very comfortable continuing to be a patient there regularly.

Dr Griffith is excellent at his profession. He is knowledgeable and always gives me the best product for my eye health. I always feel he tries to run on schedule. His staff is excellent as well. Professional, helpful and friendly.

Dr. Ettinger is the most professional, knowledgeable and caring opthamologist we have ever met. The office staff were kind, nformative and clear regarding cost for the eye exam. Great staff and very thorough eye exam. Definitely a better experience than most others and got out of there fast. Angel rocks at helping out with navigation with tricky eye insurance stuff too

I recently had cataract surgery with Dr. Bala at this surgery center. Everyone involved in my surgery was kind and accommodating. Safina does an outstanding job in organizing all the patients’ surgeries and makes sure everything runs smoothly. It was a great experience. They even played Italian music for me! Everyone is just so friendly and made me feel so comfortable about the surgery. This excellent service is hard to come by these days.

Dr. Savko saved my eyesight and my job. Yes, you read that right... or maybe you couldn't and that's why you should go here. When I first became a patient of hers (almost a decade ago) she noticed irregularities in my vision. Given my history and her own due diligence she was able to diagnose a semi rare disease that was exacerbated by a lasik surgery I received 7 years prior. Luckily it was caught early enough to undergo surgery that stopped my corneal deterioration. I work in the film industry as an editor and visual effects artist so I'm LOOKING at screens all day. Had it not been for her knowledge and attention to detail I would have surely lost my vision and my livelihood. Dr. Savko has been my optometrist for almost ten years at this point and will continue to be my optometrist for as long as I'm able. If you're looking for someone who cares, never pressures you into something unnecessary, and has the vast knowledge to understand your eye needs... look no further.

I have been going to Dr. Savko for a number of years now. She’s not only professional, but also friendly and personable. She has a wonderful way of explaining what she is doing during the exam as well as responding to any questions I may have. Her staff are lovely as well. Highly recommend.
