Dr. Amir is indeed a true professional in his delivery of services and his true concern for his patients. I am blessed to have a clinician who is truly present and I am so comfortable in expressing any clinical concerns that I have with him. He is the best!

The Santa Maria office is not the top notch organization it use to be. Over the course of the past year, I have had to deal with rude staff and canceled appointments. I do not understand why it is that if the doctor cancels your appointment, the office does not make the extra effort to fit you in close to your original appointment date. I was just informed my mother's eye appointment has to be rescheduled because the doctor will be out of the office. The next available appointment for a Friday is 6 weeks out! Way to look out for your patients.

Dr Amir was knowlegeable about my history and current treatment. He efficiently discussed our program of treatment and current medication regimen. He also laughs at my dumb jokes.

The team was very accommodating for me today. I was running late due to an accident which slowed traffic on my way to the appointment. They were able to get me in even though I was about 25 minutes behind schedule. The male gentleman that did my pre screening and post exam activities was extremely helpful and polite. He offered the optional enhanced screening and priced out a couple of options in order to answer my questions. The optometrist was polite, conducted test quickly and efficiently and recommended a follow up for an area of concern. My visit to this location was enjoyable and positioned me with everything I need to make a decision on how I would like to proceed. I will most definitely return to the associate that assisted to me to make my purchases. I really appreciated how I felt as I walked out of the store.

The wonderful woman who helped me with the tests before I saw the doctor was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She was patient, kind and laughed with me when I was trying to get through the eye tests, since I was a bit nervous. The doctor was so great and polite as well. I will be taking my fiancé to this place next.

I have had a difficult eye health journey this year and they made me feel well taken care of. Every one was very helpful. Special thank you to Dr. Mewes for taking care of me and making me feel more comfortable!

Horrible customer wait time. Only seems like two employees are working in such a big office space. No one greeted, asked me for help, or even say to me one moment ma’am someone will help you for well over 30 minutes. Seems the only people they acknowledged are those with appts but even they waited long periods of time to be seen.

Great service. Did my exam and picked my frames in less than an hour. If you have medi-cal be aware it'll take a long time to get your stuff but that's the state's fault, not the company's!

My review is on ordering glasses. They have horrible selection even for ones not covered by insurance. Everything seems to be an add on. Not very much selection for children. Costco has much nicer selections sturdier and scratch resistant … More

Teagle Optometry
So... this is a tale of two reviews because my initial visit was fine, and I have no complaints about that. However since receiving my glasses there has been a problem with the lenses that started around 90 days after receiving them and have gotten progressively worse - according to the person working at Teagle's front desk "it looks like a problem with the coating" (see attached photos - those aren't scratches!)
The people at the front desk said that there was nothing they could do as they're outside warranty - although they also said they can usually help to replace these "within 1-2 years" (which I am in). I've worn glasses my whole life and this has never happened to another pair I've ever received. I do tend to keep a pair of glasses for about 2 years due to work insurance program - seems to me that if a manufacturing issue like the a problem with the coating is the issue here, the people at Teagle should work to make it right.
Every Review metters. See what people say about clinics.
