Very great customer service! My glass broke the same day and if you like me, you need to see! Tamar was absolutely amazing! She was able to get me in a pair of frames and use my old lenses in them until my second pair of new glasses come. She was wonderful with the pair she chose to fit my old lenses. Also, I love they have the option for CareCredit! This really saved me! Thank you again, Tamar!

WOULD NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN. First they quoted a price of $59 for a eye exam which I booked and scheduled a week in advance. When I arrived they told me there was also a $29 doctor's exam fee that they do not tell people about when booking the appointment. I then waited an hour and a half past my appointment time before seeing their doctor. I then had no time to pick out glasses for the buy one get one deal and ask to come back the next day. They then told me that the buy one get one deal is only if I bought glasses the same day as the exam. I pointed out to them that there is nothing in writing in there website regarding this. They then told me I could have 30 days. I then ordered glasses and they told me that they would be ready in 2 weeks. They ended up breaking one of the pairs and it took an additional two more weeks for the second pair to be completed. It took over a month to receive both pairs of glasses. There were nothing special at all about the prescription or the lenses that were ordered. In the future I will look somewhere else for my optical needs. I hope that Stanton Optical is able to resolve their issues regarding staff knowledge as well as appropriate staffing in the store.

I visited this office on Sunday 8/6. I came in hoping I would be able to order some new glasses, same frame & prescription from the ones that I am wearing now. Unfortunately, my prescription had expired in 2021 & I wouldn’t be able to order anything new unless I got an eye exam. At this time, I was not able to schedule an appointment & my glasses were messed up too. One of the supports that stand on your nose was gone & my glasses no longer fit well when I wore them, so it constantly would fall off when I look down. Ximena Lopez was a GREAT HELP. I would give her customer service and customer satisfaction a 10. She listened to my concerns and although, I was not able to order the same glasses & prescription. She was able to get my glasses fixed, cleaned & tighten. So the stands on the nose area are complete fixed and new, glasses are tighten and do not fall off my face anymore. I left extremely grateful and happy. Thank you Ximena Lopez for all of your help!

I was so pleased with the service and the incredible selection. They have a lot of name brand and inexpensive frames. The eye doc, Dr. Nguyen, was really nice and helpful and seemed very good at her job. The staff member who helped me pick out frames was patient and helpful also. This is a good place to for all vision related needs.

Awful! They sent my frames off to get new lenses that was supposed to take 3-4 weeks. Over a month later we called to see where my glasses were, and they said they have had them for weeks but forgot to call us. When I brought them home, the lenses fell out immediately. I tried popping them back in, but they didn’t fit quite right. The new lenses were the wrong shape and would not fit in the frames. When I called them on the phone, they were rude and basically hung up when we said we wanted a refund. When we went back in for a refund, they took my glasses and bent the frames trying to make the lenses fit (you can see in the photos). Instead of apologizing, the receptionist said “it’s fine, they’ll still fit your face.” After arguing, they finally refunded us…half. We walked out with my old lenses in my old frames (now bent) with half of what we paid them, and not even an apology. We're going to Lens Crafters next time. They don't take my insurance, but they’re 50 feet away in the same mall and I’d rather pay out of pocket for glasses than deal with this place ever again. Avoid this place. **Pictures show frames after being damaged when they tried to make their lenses fit when we asked for a refund. Originally their lenses were the wrong shape and would just pop out. Their answer was to damage my frames trying to make them fit. ***note*** Dr. at first appointment was nice and exam was great. 1 star. EVERYTHING after that was garbage.

I first became a patient at this practice as a kid in the early 90s. Since I’m moving back to Sac from San Jose, I decided to become a patient again. I love this practice. The employees are so nice and helpful. The doctor was very informative and gave me recommendations to better care for my eyes. I’m so happy to update my prescription there.

I did not have a positive experience last year, but I went back again this year to give them another chance. I had to have five follow up appointments to get my contact lenses correct, and even now, I feel like they aren't great. One time I was waiting so long in the chair with no word on when someone was going to come back that I just walked out. I was told multiple times that it was my fault I could not get my new contacts out of my eye even though I have been wearing contacts for 30 years. There was even a billing increase that no one could explain why I was charged more. I will not be going back and I wish I could get my money back. I just now grabbed some readers just so I could read. Super disappointing. I do like the frames I got but they were super expensive, even with insurance.

The dr there made me feel very uncomfortable she was asking me very personal questions my whole visit felt like my appointment I was being integrated my whole appointment I will never go back there I recommend u don’t go there very unprofessional of her

Made an appointment weeks ago for tomorrow afternoon. The day before (today) they leave a voicemail telling me the doctors schedule has changed, and he won't be in tomorrow. They were asking me if I could come in today or two days from now instead, I told them I took work of specifically for this appointment and cannot request time off just days or hours prior to trying to leave. Completely unprofessional and a complete waste of my time, at least give me a 24 hour notice before your doctor decides to cancel his appointments. I now have to find an optometrist office that takes my insurance and will see me on such short notice.

Second time I have been in there. I'm not a fan of having my eyeballs touched, so I asked the doctor to be aware of it. Last year, he was cool, worked around it. This year, he yelled at me, told me that he wouldn't give me a prescription, that I was going to go blind and that if I refused his suggestion, my insurance wouldn't pay. Threats, intimidation and high pressure sales on glasses. If that's what you want, this is your place! Perhaps it's time this doctor retired? Poor people skills, unprofessional and just plain rude.
