My experience with Dr. Politi was absolutely fantastic. His office squeezed me in as an emergency. The office staff processed me quickly, and everyone was kind and friendly. Dr. Politi himself was very empathetic, patient, and took his time explaining and answering all of my questions. He clearly is an expert in his field. Went as an emergency, but will return as a permanent patient. Thank you!

I visited the Optical Center for the first time today and had a great experience with Dr. DeMasi. I have to say this was one of my best experiences visiting an Optometrist. Check-in was very quick and the entire process was smooth. I definitely recommend Dr. DeMasi!

My overall experience is bad and disappointing. First, this is the first time ever in my life that I didn't get my eyes dilated for an eye exam. The assistant asked if I wanted to use a machine to get my a picture of my pupils to avoid eye dilation. Of course it's not covered by the insurance and I have to pay around $40. I said no, and I only wanted to do an eye drop thing for dilation. However, I never got that until my eye exam was done. I didn't want to argue because who knows what was gonna happen. As a minority, I usually avoid arguments for self protection. Second, the staff needs to be more clear about the explanation of insurance coverage. For God sake, it is completely different when you only say "this is covered" from "this is covered but there's a copay". They suggested a feature to be added to my glasses and said it was covered by my insurance. When it was time to pay, I realized that I needed to pay $55 for the feature they suggested. By the way, the feature is to get my glasses thinner. But when I got my glasses and compared it to my old glasses without the feature, the thickness is the same. I felt like I was scammed. But I don't want to go back because what happened on the day I was there to pick up my glasses. I found my frame was very skewed and let them know. The lady at the reception desk point to a lady saying she would help me fix it. I went to find her. She kept saying it was not her frame and she never saw the frame before. She asked me where I got it. Even if I kept telling her I got it here, in the store. She said "I'm not arguing with you" and "the frame looks fine to her". I never argued with her but let her know I got the frame from the store. Because she didn't believe me about getting the frame from the store nor I didn't feel comfortable with the frame. Eventually she asked about my phone number and check my order info. She went to a room to fix my frame. No one came to apologize. I gave two starts because the assistant I met was nice and I wanted to give him the credit. I will NEVER go back there EVER!!!!

I've been seeing Dr Martindale for a few years now and every time he's nailed my RX perfectly. He builds a great rapport with patients while providing excellent customer service. Despite the fact my new insurance doesn't cover his services, I will continue going to him.

UCI is the BEST health care I have EVER received in my > 70 years of existence. Dr. Lee and Dr Farid have an EXCELLENT team and have done a terrific job in preserving my eye sight after a freak accident. I highly recommend them and all the doctors there.

Dr. Wilhite and all the staff at Davis Eye Clinic are amazing. I recently had cataract surgery, Dr. Whilite is an excellent surgeon and cares about his patients. I highly recommend this practice for all your eye care needs. Not one negative thing can be said.
