The best experience I've had getting a new glases!!! I got them in a very short time (two-three days) after I went to the optical, and got an excelent service choosing the frame and lenses. Definitely I will be there again when I need it. Thanks a lot!!!

I waited over a month to get an appointment for a contact fitting. I confirmed with their email a week prior. I pre-registered with all my insurance information. I got a text and an email the day before. I showed up for my appointment at 5:40 and was told it was canceled and they could not help me. That’s unacceptable. I guess their patients time isn’t important. Consider going somewhere else.

I got my glasses from Falls Church I’d like to thank the optician Michael H that always helps me out and giving me the best advice for my glasses and it’s always a pleasure to go there for my appointment the whole staff are very friendly and helpful all the time.

Our entire family has been going to Chen Family EyeCare for 2 years. We got to know Mr. and Mrs. Chen practice from a referral from our close friend. We have always been welcomed like into a home and treated with high professionalism and care. We value the experience and family atmosphere. My 6 years old daughter just loves coming here and loves her glasses so much.

My first visit was filled of hope and I was not wrong. Doctor Nolan has made my life easier with his treatment. God bless him.

Firstly, as another reviewer stated and what I wish I had read before going is that when booking an appointment it was not disclosed (at least not well enough) that this is a virtual/“hybrid” eye exam where the optometrist is not even on site. I checked in, filled out paperwork, handed over my insurance card and was never informed that they didn’t take my insurance until it was time to pay. So I went in expecting to pay almost nothing given that I am blessed with great insurance but then told it was going to be upwards of $500 for my exam and 3 months of contacts “after insurance”. No glasses. No mention of my insurance not being taken here. I decided to skip the contacts and glasses and get them somewhere else and still paid $75 for exams “after insurance” that wasn’t even actually filed. The employees were nice but didn’t seem to know how to explain everything that was going on and this was overall an overwhelming experience.

Nice office on 2nd st for 1st class patients 2nd class patients on medicad are sent to the run down office across the street

Just had my regular eye exam here; I decided to come back to VisionMaxx years after my last visit (that insurance discontinued). And I am so beyond pleased I did! They went above and beyond my expectations: The storefront is still clean and well-organized as always. The staff was so polite, friendly, helpful, and even looked out for my best interests in which tests to opt into. All went so smoothly and easy, up-to-date equipment, highly knowledgable DR. And my favorite part of the visit was chatting with the cashier! He was so funny and personable. Although I did not have my contacts in at that point, he reminded me of a good-natured John Hammond from Jurassic Park! Which made my inner child so happy. Final thoughts? Definitely VISIT HERE! :) Do not trust Walmart for this level of excellent affordable care. Do yourself a huge favor by scheduling with Dr. Johnson or Dr. Marcin. (You’ll actually save a few bucks more on contacts here, than ordering at 1-800-Contacts, or even Walmart!!!)
