I went to pick up my glasses and tried them on for adjusting. I told her the lenses are filthy. Brand new, why are they dirty? That should have been my red flag. She proceeded to clean with a grey cloth after each adjustment but still dirty. I asked how many glasses have you cleaned all day with that cloth? The other clerk handed her a disposal wipe in a packet to clean it. Then it was CLEAN. We're in a pandemic and that was just nasty. I took my glasses and left had them adjusted elsewhere. I do not recommend this place.

Been coming to see Dr. Pope and Dr. Z for over 30 years! I have to cross a bridge to get there but it’s worth it for the care and frienship!

This Optometry center has some very rude and un-professional receptionists. We were late by 15 minutes and they treated us like we were dirt. We could not find parking due to the fact their parking lot closed being resurfaced but that was no concern for them. They didn't care we are senior citizens and handicapped, this Optometrist has a most un-professional receptionist(s) who could care less not even a sorry for the parking inconvenience , no smile just a very rude receptionist. There are far too many GOOD optometrists out there who actually care for their customers, who are friendly and understanding if you are late and especially if you are Handicapped...NOT THIS ONE.

Dr. Pope is awesome! I saw him for my eyes from about 2010 until retiring in 2016 and moving away, and I haven’t been able to find another optometrist, who can do what he does, since. He was always so upbeat & energetic. I always looked forward to my eye appointments with him. No one can get my eye prescription right since. Thank you Dr. Pope! Wish I still lived in Hayward.

Staff and doctors are nice and professional. Waiting time can vary. Last visit was less than an hour. Kids selection is minimum.

Manisha was awesome . She fixed my daughters glasses . Had me in and out of there in five minutes. Great customer service highly recommended.

The ladies at the front desk were very helpful! They helped me with a comfort issue with my glasses that no one has been able to easily help resolve so far. Thanks so much!
