Had an eye exam & the doctor was wonderful. He took his time & explained every step. I have an unusual problem with my eyes and he went into detail so that I understood everything. Also, the young lady who helped me when picking out frames went above & beyond when I was trying to make up my mind! They go out of their way to make sure that you get what you need and want!

Over all great experience! I highly recommended this place if you need a eye exams. The customer service and the optometrist was wonderful. Honestly the whole thing could have take the doctor less than 5 mins. But she take the time and educate me on a lot of stuff. I really do appreciate all the knowledge that she share with me. I’m glad my insurance cover the eye exams. -Glasses is really expensive here. But if you have the money I would do it.

Love coming to this location, the remodel is inviting and this location always has someone available from check in to cash out. Super friendly and Tracy F is such a great sales person, very patient and gives great advice and will check the best options for your budget. Always come here!

Dr Mandel and his team of optometrists and nurses/techs were so professional, skilled and reassuring. They prepare the patients with well-written information and videos that educate and answer most questions ahead of the consultations. Dr. Mandel took the time to thoroughly answer my other questions in my initial consultation and was also kind to answer subsequent questions by text.He and his team also accommodated my schedule which was complicated by my coming from out of town and also my vacation plans.During the surgery, Dr Mandel was kind and reassuring and alleviated my anxiety. The post-op instructions were clear and easy to follow too. Most importantly, Dr Mandel performed an absolutely perfect surgery on both my eyes! I couldn't ask for a better outcome - although I expected to possibly need a slight correction or maybe glasses for nighttime driving, I haven't needed anything at all. Just perfect vision which is amazing especially with the extremely nearsighted vision that I started with! Thank you so much to Dr Mandel and his team!

I highly recommend Dr. Mandel and his efficient, professional and compassionate staff if you are in need of cataract surgery. I was well informed of every step in the process verbally and in writing and was comfortable throughout. Both pre and post op instructions were clear and effective and my resulting vision is frankly astonishing. I had been accustomed to wearing thick glasses since kindergarten but can now drive without any glasses at all. My independence has been enhanced immeasurably and I want to thank Dr. Mandel, the anesthesiologists who were also great and all the terrific nurses and other staff members for my improved vision.

I recently had cataract surgeries performed by Dr. Mandel. I have to say my experience from beginning to end was exceptional. His entire staff from the receptionist to the post-op nurses were professional, personable, caring and communicative. Dr. Mandel answered all of my questions throughout the process and for the first time in 50 years I don't need glasses! The laser-assisted procedure and multifocal lenses worked out very well for me. I'm grateful to everyone at Optima and especially Dr. Mandel for making this such a positive experience. Mahalo!!

I scheduled my appointment at 5 PM, but since I was around the area I figured I can come earlier. Luckily, my optometrist was available and I was able to get out before 5 PM! This is my 3rd time going to his office & I always look forward to getting my eyes checked out since it's quick & painless.

Dr Jodi Shepard was great. You can tell that she loves her job by her level of excitement as she explains, at your comfort level, all the details of your examination and the condition of your eyes. She is very patient and extremely detailed and thorough. It is very easy to see that this isn't just her work, she genuinely wants to help and make a difference in the health and happiness of her patience life.
