Went for my grandma's check up after eye surgery and we were in and out. Dr. Was very good. Made sure my grandma's eyes were feeling well. The staff was alright. The girl who took us in didn't speak Spanish so when she had my grandma read the letters she just kept saying ok next and didn't even know if my grandma was saying them correctly. So her Vision could of been wrong from what she wrote down.😑

Staff was very friendly and professional answered all my questions. Wait time was not long at all, and was comfortable the whole time. Got my new glasses prescription easily. Thank you to the staff for assisting me. 🤓👍 …

Both Dr and staff are unprofessional. It was not a good experience. They lied about how long my daughters eyes would be dilated. They said 1 to 2 hours it has been over 24. When I called their answer was take her to the ER or leave a bad review. I will do both

My daughter had broke her glasses and I was opposed to drop off her old frame and pick up her glasses when it was ready. The staff was so nice and quick they fixed her glasses the second I handed it to them. Super sweet staff ❤️

Terrible customer service. I stopped in to get some glasses made. The representatives at the optical gallery were just sitting and having casual conversations with people who weren't getting glasses made. If you have all day to wait, then this may be your place.

Chico Eye Center is always great!!

What a major difference in coming here, instead of another large eye center here in town. Everyone is courteous and very professional. My previous eye exam was a joke and the doctors here took great lengths to check and double check my vision for the correct prescription. I waited too long to go here and when I put my new glasses on I was blown away at how much I could see immediately without even having to adjust. It was almost like seeing for the first time, I kid you not. In short, I love everything about this place and will be seeing them next year for my routine checkup.

Dr. Woods is unprofessional, judgemental and severely lacking compassion. I'm chronically sick with multiple illnesses and he immediately dismissed my concerns by stating I'm "too young" for a potential disease and when I corrected him, that's when he shut down entirely. The remaining portion of my visit was throughly unpleasant. He is rude, plain and simple.

The people we did talk to were friendly and professional, but should it take 2+ hours for a standard eye exam? We sat in 3 waiting rooms, 3 exam rooms over a period of 2+ hours. My grandmother is 86. Not acceptable. Poor planning or scheduling or something. Yikes.

I'm really happy with Family Eye Care. They have provided great care for my family and me for years. We've been to them for eye injuries, serious eye health issues and basic eye exams. They are very thorough and caught a critical diagnosis that three other offices didn't even take seriously. They are great with my friends kids and great with me and my old-lady eyes. It was really easy to work with them in forwarding records and information to neurologists, surgeons and ophthalmologists. There office staff, clinicians and opticians are patient. They know what they are doing and they explain things in away that is really clear and straightforward. They run there appointment on time or close to on-time, yet I never feel like they are rushing. It's like there is all the time in the world to take care of our vision. They seem happy to help and happy to work together. It's just nice being at the office. So, you can tell I'm a fan and I just thought I'd shrare how I feel about Family Eye Care.
