Wow, very clean, friendly staff. Efficient but attentive Dr. was most thorough exam I have had in a while and they totally nailed my new prescription. Frames selection is vast and high quality, though quite pricey. Great first visit!

The office staff and the doctor were all so friendly and welcoming. We really had a great experience getting vision testing and glasses at Family Eye Care.

Very quick and easy, professional service, and Dr. Pennington listened and helped me with my difficult contact lens prescription. Glasses fitting was painless and there were great frame options with reasonable prices. I highly recommend Chico Vision Care!

This place is always clean and organized. I’m always in and out, he is quick and informative at yearly check ups. Friendly and would highly recommend if you’re looking for a good eye doctor. They try and help you out as much as they can :)

I called for my first appointment in 2 years and I was able to be seen early the next morning due to a cancelation. So that's star#1. Star#2: they have a new eye imaging machine that basically negates the need for dilation. At least for me Anyway. So that's great since I drive. Stars 3, 4 and 5+: I had a lot of money saved and I knew I wanted good frames with the best possible lenses. So I was pretty against accepting the free medi-cal set. However I was urged to accept that on the bonus of 50% off a second pair. So instead of having to pay nearly a thousand dollars for the glasses that I wanted. I paid just under 500$ instead. I left pretty happy with myself and happy they did so well and were so fast with my new prescription. Now it's just the waiting game for the new eye wear which will be fine. It'll be a short wait for the set I paid cash for.

I have consistently been very pleased by the care I have received from Dr. Merry and the staff members at North Valley Eye Care. To my layman's eyes, they have the latest equipment, and the staff is extremely well trained and very patient friendly. Dr. Merry has cared for both my wife and I for several years, and he is very kind and compassionate but also evidences a high level of professional knowledge and expertise. Last but not least, the office and clinic is amazing--very new and modern, and sparking clean. I am enthusiastically recommending Dr. Merry and North Valley Eye Care.

This practice is the most professional one I have ever been to! Dr Merry is very well trained, and consistently professional. Dr Barthelow did my cataract surgeries. He is an excellent surgeon! They have a new beautiful office located at 1500 Bruce Rd. The doctors are very thorough. I would highly recommend them!

I love going to North Valley eye care. Always a great experience with wonderful staff. Doctor Barthelow has been taking care of my eyes for a few years and he is wonderful. I met also Doctor Sharma last week. I am very pleased with them. It is important to have such an excellence available for my eyes.

I recently visited Chico eye center for some eye issues that I was having. I couldn’t be more impressed with the level of care and service I received. The staff incredibly friendly and attentive. The receptionist greeted me with a warm smile, and the paper work was quick and easy. Although I was told that I’m gonna have a long wait since they have just inserted me in their schedule but surprisingly I didn’t wait very long at all. Dr. Gilbert, B was my doctor and I was thoroughly impressed with their expertise. He took the time to explain each test and procedure, not to mention how patient he was to answered all my questions ensuring I was comfortable and informed while providing valuable insights in to my eye health. More over, the place is very clean and modern. Definitely recommending this place to my friends, family, and colleagues. A+

I have been a patient at Chico Eye Center for 3 years. I have found them to be consistently caring, welcoming and professional. Dr. Liston has performed two cataract surgeries for me and I am thrilled with the results. I can't recommend the practice or Dr. Liston highly enough.

The Chico Eye Center is a well organized office . All technicians are not only friendly but efficiently trained as the process of testing moved along smoothly . Dr. Liston explained all factors and possibilities pertaining to my eyes. Hand outs were given to me for further education. I highly recommend this Center.
