Downtown optical has an extremely friendly and informative staff. Vanessa and Lloyd helped me with the visit. Drove about 3 hours just to come here and it’s was 1000% worth it. I’d refer anyone here. They helped me choose glasses for my 9 month old which most places don’t have.

I received a list of providers that include this eye's office. When I called to make an appointment I found the most rudest woman on the phone who didn't let me talk at all, she kept interrupting saying "you are not understanding, we don't take your insurance, you don't understand". What I was trying to say was that my insurance updated me that the vision was no longer Cigna but it was under another name. I finally hung up to this disgusting woman. I don't understand how there is people working in customer service. I wish I can post this with 0 stars but it does not let me.

We normally like this place I bring my grandma this is the first time we were brought in the back in a normal room done a small exam then got returned to the lobby for over an hour being told their was no rooms available mind you we got brought in a normal exam room! That doesn’t make sense if we were brought in a normal room then kicked back in the lobby and told their are no room and sat for over an hour with people walking out and no one being brought to the back ! The doctor is great but as far as the explanation we received from the staff on being returned doesn’t make sense!

I have been here 3 to 4 times already to Dr.John. The best Doctor I have ever been too. His staff is so sweet also .. Best customer service.

My daughter and I have received excellent care. They are honest and do not push you into getting things you don’t need. I highly recommend them.

I have been getting my eyeglasses here for 10 years and have had fabulous service. They have fun and functional styles and get so excited to fit you with something that not only fits well but looks great. I recently bought a pair of sunglasses that just didn't look good on me and they took them back and got me an awesome pair that I love. I highly recommend The Optical-you guys are the best.
