I am always impressed at how thorough and professional Dr. Bloch is. He’s the most thorough an accurate optometrist I have ever been to, and will never ever ever go anywhere else!

We have had a great experience with Dr. Bloch! My son was struggling with reading and his ability to track words. He has gotten stronger and more confident in his reading skills since starting the reading program. The program has helped him practice at home and in the office and he has become a better reader overall.

Dr. Raja is fantastic! A friend recommended her and I’m so glad she was the one to assess my 2 year old’s vision. She’s kind, friendly, and upbeat with kiddos. She played with my daughter and gained her trust to be able to do the exam. My child is excited about wearing glasses and going back to see her doctor again.

I just picked up the most incredible pair of glasses I’ve ever purchased and I bought them from Beyond Vision Center in Carlsbad. Patty and the care team really made the difference. They made picking out frames seem effortless and they didn’t say goodbye until it was certain I had selected everything I went there for. I left with a beautiful pair of Tiffany sunglasses that have the highest quality lens materials and a pair of Tiffany everyday progressive glasses that make every image in front of me clear, crisp, and bright. Dr. Morgan and his staff are awesome. I am so grateful to them for getting me fitted for a Scleral contact lens and finding 2nd coverage with my vision insurance so it did not cost me a small fortune! For years I have been extremely frustrated due to prior Lasik surgery, retina issues and subsequent cataract surgery and not being able to see clearly. I thought I was going to be vision impaired forever until I came into their office and they helped me see clearly for the first time in a very long time! This was an excellent solution! The staff were so nice to brighten my day even more by giving me extra chocolates to bring home with my new contact lens. Sweet! :)

Got a note home from my daughter's school stating she needed an eye exam. We went to Ocean Eyes Optometry and they were so kind and so patient with her. Will definitely bring the rest of my children here when it's time.

If you’re considering laser eye surgery, look no further! My boyfriend and I wanted to get laser eye surgery for some time now and decided that it only made sense to see 20/20 in 2020. We did a ton of research and It was clear that Carlsbad Eye Care/Dr. Tracey was a great choice. Just to be sure we asked around for recommendations and even those ended up pointing to Carlsbad Eye Care/Dr. Tracey. We gave them a call and Natalie did an amazing job of providing us with information on what to expect and booked our consultations. The consultations are super informative and help you prepare accordingly. We scheduled our surgeries two weeks a part, my boyfriends first then mine so we could take care of each other. The surgery itself is incredibly quick, it’s over before you know it and I didn’t feel any pain. They even give you a call that afternoon to check to see how your doing. Post surgery care was pretty manageable, you’ll mainly want to sleep and keep your eyes closed. Audiobooks and listening to shows I’ve already watched kept me entertained. My boyfriend was ready to go back to work after a week. I took about a half week longer to get back to work because I had a hiccup where I was trying to get something that was in my eye out and ended up causing a bit of a tear. It sounds worse than what it was, it didn’t really feel like a tear, it kind of felt like a clear eyelash was stuck in my eye and made it water a lot. When I started to experience this discomfort I called Dr. Tracey and he made a point to see me right away. He set me up with a new bandage contact and after about half a weeks more rest, the tear was healed and I was back to work. The 2-3 weeks we returned to work/our routines, our vision was still adjusting, but definitely manageable to carry on. I’d say 4 weeks after surgery we both felt 100% adjusted. It’s now been 3 1/2 months post surgery and we couldn’t be happier. It is so nice not to worry about glasses or contacts and to just wake up with perfect vision. I can’t believe I took so long to pull the trigger and get this done. Dr. Tracey and Natalie are super knowledgeable and provided such a positive/friendly experience. If you’re interested in laser eye surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Tracey!

Dr. Tracy is an incredible ophthalmologist. I speak mostly of his experience with dry eye which is what I saw him for. When living in Carlsbad he helped me to get my ocular rosacea problems under control. Eye problems/surgery can be scary, and it is very nice to have someone to answer your questions. His receptionist/wife Natalie is very knowledgable and happy to answer all those questions. I've spoken with her a couple of times/year since I left Carlsbad. She keeps me up to date on the latest trends in dry eye therapy. Been to a couple of other eye doctors since Dr. Tracy, and I've found conflicting advice on dry eye therapies. Experience has now shown me that the advice Dr. Tracy gave me years ago was the best. Thanks!

Dr. Tracy is one of the most experienced LASIK surgeons in the country. He's very kind and straight forward and takes care of you from start to finish himself! I went to several LASIK consults and most of the time you don't even meet the guy who is going to laser your eyes until you're drugged up and under the freaking laser. Not my style. Dr. Tracy did my consult himself, my pre op, the surgery, and all post op care. Without so much as a technician to help. I felt very taken care of and I was seeing 20/20 the next day! All laser LASIK in the hands of a skilled surgeon - can't beat that!
