If this helps one person stay away then I’ve done my part! I’ve been going here for years. My most recent experience was awful. I recently went on workers comp and lost my insurance. I paid for my exam out of pocket. Having trouble covering my contacts I had to order them through target optical online. The lady running the office was convinced I hadn’t been there in 6 months, after pleading with the lady that it was only 2 months, she realized she was wrong. But instead of helping, she absolutely went out of her way to make sure I didn’t get help I needed. For years it has been a pleasant experience. Though the doc is great, absolutely do not correct the lady, or try to go without insurance, you will be met with uncaring, heartless service. 2 stars because the doctor is great.

Even though store was busy employees were very pleasant. Matt was so helpful filling a prescription I had. Based on my experience my husband has made an appt for an eye exam and glasses. Highly recommend!

Dr Duncan was great to have for my PKT surgery. I would recommend going to him for your eye surgery. The results I had I couldn't be more satisfied. Horizon is great to work with and they tell you what's going to happen every step of the way. They should get more than 5 stars! I can see 20/15 now with no more glasses or contacts! Life changing experience! Thanks Dr. DUNCAN !!!

Had a great and successful experience with my Lasik procedure. Blessed with the gift of vision that has changed my life style permanently thanks to Dr. Duncan and his expertise and precision my vision has never been better, even with corrective eye wear that I have worn and dealt with since I was 11 years old. My experience with the physicians and staff were wonderful, they are all very helpful and pleasant. Dr. Tran and Dr. Duncan both made me feel comfortable and calmed my anxiety about the procedure and made me regret not doing this years prior!!! Thanks Horizon Eye for everything.

I hate to leave such a bad review of this location, but I've now had multiple bad experiences. When I first visited to get an eye exam, I didn't feel that the doctor really took the time to provide a thorough exam. The appointment was later in the afternoon, so maybe things would have gone better if I'd booked an appointment earlier in the day. Either way, when I received my prescription, I realized it was incorrect. After a couple of conversations with management, I was recommended to Dr. Betts at the Avondale location and had a great experience with him. A couple days after receiving my glasses, I noticed that they were not fitting well. I brought them back to the Goodyear location to have them fitted and now not only do they feel even less secure, there is clear damage/indentations on the frame where they were adjusted and one of the lenses doesn't seem as clear. This is a pair of $250 Ray Ban frames that are intended to last for several years and are now damaged 2 days after receipt by a Visionworks employee. I should have just gone back to the Avondale location in the first place and now I'm stuck with a pair of dented frames that don't even fit properly.

My husband and I had appointments this morning, the entire experience was great but the woman who helped us select our glasses was amazing! So kind and informative! I give her 10/10 Highly recommend

I was not greeted when entering the store. First time I’ve ever been in and walked around for a while before being acknowledged. The store was not even busy, but after a while more customers came in and then I was greeted. Not a great first impression.

Not only have all of our exams went well here, but the office staff is especially friendly and helpful. On two different occasions now I've had issues with a prescription fitting the specs of certain frames and they've always found an alternate similar frame or been able to adjust so that we got the frames and lenses that we wanted. Very helpful and professional!

The staff was friendly and the optometrist Dr. D. Yerramilli was excellent. The only opportunity if any.. I would suggest is to acknowledge the customer’s waiting around, a simple ill be with you in a minute would helps. Otherwise good service! The older woman working the desk was very helpful and attentive let me know my opinions and what made sense for me. Thanks again!

Alex was immature and unprofessional. When I handed her my paperwork, she did not pay attention to my name, confused my insurance with another patient, then told me Target Optical doesn’t take my insurance although I had located you on my insurance website provider search. She said the wrong information was entered when the appointment was made, which wasn’t true - she was in the wrong patient. I canceled my appointment. I was still sitting there looking again for an in network provider, and they called me back, telling me they do take my insurance. Then Alex yells ‘I told her’, which she did not. Then there was a considerable delay as she had deleted my information. Everyone makes mistakes but she had three opportunities to correct it and each time chose the incorrect action. The doctor was great. Christina was super excellent and completely saved me from blowing up Target Optical on social media. I was never going back, however Christina was polite, professional and helpful. Alex needs a great deal of training and I truly hope she gets it
