STAY AWAY! Awful service. Frames are overpriced. Owner is arrogant and fails to take responsibility for errors. My $600 glasses/frames have a pink/purple reflection I never chose (SHE did, without telling me!) and the frames slide down my nose no matter what I do. What a waste of money.

Dr. Chang is great. He is very flexible to work with. Brought in my old favorite Polo frames for new prescription and there was a flaw or defect in the left lense. He immediately orders me a new set of lenses for it. Even my wife and kids are his patients now. Great office staff, Ms. Rina and Ms. Stella. UPDATE: Dr. Brad Chang never disappoints. Great service, selection and pricing!! Always "service with a smile." Zeiss lenses are great.

Dr Kansara was very thorough and helpful for understanding what was going on . Everyone, including all the support staff was fantastic. I was a little concerned about going and they helped me with my concerns. I'm happy I chose to go there.

I can’t even begin to fully articulate how grateful I am for Dr. Ballinger and the rest of the staff at Newport Beach Developmental Optometry Group. I have struggled with a lot of different challenges throughout my life and I’ve essentially been pinballed from specialist to specialist, left with little answers and usually more questions. The puzzle pieces of my life have finally been coming together after 30 years. Dr. Ballinger didn’t just run tests, she took the time to help me understand what my results actually mean and how they’ve been affecting me and what steps can be taken next to lessen the burden and barriers these challenges have created internally and externally. For the first time, I feel seen and validated rather than dismissed. If you’ve been struggling and no one has been able to give you answers, I can’t recommend this office enough. I feel forever indebted to everyone here ❤️

They gave me an appointment for 1:00 today, and they are closed. They knew they weren't going to be there. My motto is everything you do to others is already done to you. They won't have to worry bout me going back there. Personally, I think that practice is getting ready to fold.😳 …

This place is very bad. I was helped by this associate and he has absolutely no interest in serving customers. I suspect that the charges were incorrect and went back to just asked that the charges be reviewed, which I don't think it is anything too much to ask, but was refused. The reason he cited is that he has no way to pull my record once it is submitted to VSP.....what kind of story is that?

My first appointment here was fine. I saw Dr. Abraham and she was good, so I’ll give a second star based on that experience, but otherwise this office needs some work. I went for an appointment today with Dr. Marano and waited 45 minutes past my appointment time without being seen. The waiting room was *packed* (they were bringing in extra chairs for people so they could sit). After 30 minutes, I asked how late appointments were running and the front desk said about 30 minutes. I waited another 15 minutes (45 minutes total) and still nothing, so I left. If I make an appointment and take time off work, I don’t have time to sit around in a waiting room all day. It’s totally unprofessional. The front desk said: “We’re always running behind on Thursdays.” So make fewer appointments then? There have been some reviews about the attitude of the front desk folks, so I should mention they were nice during this visit. No complaints. The woman who answered the phone when I made my appointment was incredibly rude though—as though it were an unbearable burden to schedule my appointment. Bizarre.

Dr. Bruce and her team were wonderful. I had such a great experience here and will definitely return. 10 stars.
