Visited for the first time yesterday. Kind staff and the eye doctor really took his time explaining everything to me bc I was thinking about getting my laziks tweaked and I really just came in for an eye exam for that. He gave me a contact and solution to try if I just want to have one eye done so I don't have to get reading glasses. He didn't have to do that. Great doctor. I will be going back for my yearly exam. I'll be setting up an aptn for my husband soon.

I have been seeing Dr. Mohay-Ambrose in the Frazier Eye Institute for 10 years. I find her knowledge up to date, patient with any questions I might have, and her understanding toward my conditions appropriate. I just wish the community of Doctors I see in several UofL clinics I attend for my overlapping multiple conditions were able to easier review and communicate with what the other Dr.'s treatment plans are.

My last visit wasn't so great. The eye specialist there had an attitude when I brought my daughter back after the medication he gave me for my daughter's eyes did not work. He said next time I should call instead of coming out there smh. … More

Excellent experience from beginnig to end. Dr. Hoffman and his staff listen quite well and respond to questions or concerns I raise. Dr. Hoffman is extremely thourough, with an excellent approach to treating the vison problems I was having.

There was a big confusion with the person who set everything up. When I my got pack from her, I was not to continue the drops I was taking for glaucoma. They should explain that you will get new drops to use 4 times a day, but nothing about continuing using the other drops. Give me a break I am 71 old I need things explained then written down. I felt she was more interested putting info in her computer to get us out and another person in. She really needs to be more personable and remember we don’t retain as good as we once did. Everybody else was extremely helpful and nice.

I’m sorry to post a bad experience. I arrived at exactly 10:15 for my appointment at 10:15. After waiting 25 minutes I went to the front desk and asked to reschedule , I couldn’t wait any longer. She says, and I quote, “we ARE a doctors office.” Whatever that means. Really disappointing. Dr K has always been great with my mom. There has always been a little wait time. I can understand that, but not that comment. She’s fired at my office.

Great surgeon and technicians but terrible scheduling team. So unorganized and never can get a hold of anyone for medication refill needed before surgery. Can’t give you a time in a reasonable timeframe or information required for your surgery.

Staff is great! However...after cataract surgery I still need glasses, forever. Not just readers mind you, for far away as well. It took well over a month to find this out, that this poor vision could never get better. I do not believe I will have the left eyes cataract surgery done by any Bennett and Bloom office. I have no eye diseases and I was told "That's as good as it gets". It was the standard lens but, I'm pretty sure I was told my vision would be better. I am not convinced. I actually could read with my right eye but, no more, plus need a distance lens! Not satisfied.

In Feb 2023, I had a cataract assessment and we discussed several options. I was told I'd be called very soon. It is now April 20th and I am still waiting for that magic phone call. Their poor customer response has disrupted an entire Spring of activity. Poor, Poor service at this location.

I was very pleased with my first visit. The wait was short, and all of the staff were friendly and professional. I especially liked Dr Menon. She answered all of my questions, gave me good advice after a thorough examination.. I would recommend this practice.
