Definitely don't recommend. I went in at the end of March for my eye exam. It was uncomfortable but I didn't think much of it because the tech was still learning I assume. Picked out my glasses and was told 7-10 days. They weren't ready in that time frame. I got told 10 -15 business days when I called to check on them. Ok. I called back after the 10 days and was told my glasses came in but they had the wrong transition color. Refunded me $50 and told me the correct glasses would be ready in 2 weeks. I waited 3 weeks to call back and they still aren't ready. I completely understand things are a bit slower now but this is ridiculous.

We visited here for eye test, very professional service provided, recommendations with personal attention. We had more options from variety of frames from different brands with reasonable price. Few customers was there so we had chance to take our time and select our choice. Location also very perfect, no issues with parking. Finally thanks for exceptional customer service.

Exam itself was excellent, they werethorough and took layered imaging of my eye to check on a strange spot that obstructs my vision a tad. (I have astigmatism and the spot turned out to be a "freckle" deep inside my right eye, according to the doctor.) The issue i have is with the providers of the lenses. My glasses cost over $200, which is outrageous enough as is, but what ever they cover the lenses with is cheap because it dissolves over the years to the point of the glasses being completely unuseable. The film they put on my lenses makes it look like my lenses are consdantly foggy or smudged and it has progressively gotten so bad that I now can not see out if the glasses at all. It looks like it maybe has dried and shunk to where it cracked and looks almost like skin and pieces of something sticky-looking, but nothing is there, as I would clean my glasses daily. Photo included. I have never had this happen to glasses before and I have been through quite a few pairs as I have to get a new prescription every couple years. For the price, how cheaply made they are, plus needing a regular update on lenses, this place is not worth your $$$ for lenses. - Can literally see better without these now.

Dr. Smith is amazing! I booked an appointment for a contact lens fitting and was so happy she had availability the next day. While I was there, I found the cutest pair of glasses. In general, Dr. Smith just couldn’t have been any kinder and more accommodating! I’m looking forward to seeing her for all of my eye care needs!

They will create every barrier to healthcare possible to not serve their veterans. Veterans with cancer have died in the care of VA facilities for making their chemo appointment 4 months out. So neglectful! I’m now in the process of moving states to receive better healthcare because paying $4k+ for therapy when it’s supposed to be free is INSANE! MOST DISABLED VETS DO NOT WORK AND YOU ARE ROBBING THEM/US!

I always receive excellent service from Jacksonville Eye Center. Dr Schnipper and his staff are always professional and caring. I'm a people watcher and I enjoy seeing the interactions with all the staff and the patients. From the time you walk into the door, the thorough exam, and departing, you feel like your part of the family. Been coming here for years! Wouldn't recommend anyone else to my eyes! Dr Schnipper is always wearing some colorful shoes!

Doctor was AMAZING! Very thorough and provided information very clearly. However store was not a good experience. No guidance on glasses. No letting me know price ranges so I know what I should stay away from. Only time we were helped was when we found glasses and was told To get rung up. I felt as if I was at the “drive thru” of the eye doctor offices. I will not be returning due to this. Hoping the doctor goes to other sites or offices so I can go see him however this store was not something I would come back to.

I love going to Dr. Shily’s office! He is the beat optometrist- always taking the time with me and my husband when we come in and being very thorough. His office is very clean and his secretary at the front desk is so nice and friendly.

I went to the reservation time and the reservation was canceled due to doctor's reasons.. The receptionist didn't even call me to confirm... I waited for a month and made a reservation again, but I was 25 minutes late because of traffic. The receptionist asked me why I was late and asked me to make a reservation again. That's very unkind, too. I've felt it before, but the receptionist here is really unkind. Really...
