I went to this location do to good reviews, but was very disappointed, they were great with me and daughters for eye exam and told me both of our glasses were covered from insurance up to $175, but after2 weeks i get a call telling me my glasses are not covered and i have to pay $250 more for both glasses. When i called my insurance they told me i was covered, so i called back to the store and told them that my insurance said that i was covered, they told me they don’t see it on the website so told them, they have to call and speak to insurance, they told me they will not call and i gonna have to pay $250 extra top of what i paid them $246 when i went to get my glasses.. my point is they should of called and clear with my insurance. Now me and my daughter have to wait one year to get new exam and new glasses, my daughter was so excited to get new glasses before she goes to college, well atleast i got my $246 back, but out eye exam and will have to pay out of my pocket.

Fantastic experiences. I have been with Dr. B.J McKee for over 5 years. He has provided excellent service regarding diagnosis and prognosis. Mannerism and professionalism is definitely par excellent. Stay focused on the main reason you are in his office and not the service receptionist. Sometimes it maybe a turn off. Overall all medical staff are excellent.

A great doc who took time to listen to me and help me understand the problem. She actually told me I didn't quite need glasses, which made me feel like she genuinely wanted to help more than just make $.

I was there for a follow up exam after cataract surgery. Doctor Gandy and entire staff was professional and courteous. The appointment went well and wait time was normal. Total recommendation of Dr. Gandy and Eye Centers of Southeast Texas.

Dr. Schwallie is fantastic. The staff is so kind. He takes the time to explain things very thoroughly and has great bed side manner. They moved to a new location and everything is brand new and clean. I would highly recommend this practice. He is a standout doctor.

First experience with the first Dr was not ok, he dismissed my concerns, misdiagnosed me ( told me I was fine it was not urological, find another Dr ). I get a pc the next day I have a uti( so much for not being urological). I had questions regarding the script and he was mad that I called him after hours ! He also became upset when I reviewed my allergies stating “I don’t know what you expect we are not miracle workers .) He had told me go back to ER that he was tired of me repeating the ER wouldn’t help me. I go to the ER they call the on call x2 no one calls the hospital back , so they could not treat me. I ended up leaving .
It would appear The particular Dr I was seen by in My opinion is for men and men only. He also told me my original dx from my old urologist was incorrect , he told me all of that after meeting me in 5 min.
Ff I see a new Dr who is warm and actually listened and understood my pain, I had now been to the Er for the same problem 5 times ! This Dr explained what he believed I had going on and how we would eradicate the infection. Office staff Rachel and Ellen are amazing !!

My appointment was on time and the doctor was very professional and patient in getting my vision improved. There was a nice selection of reasonable priced frames.

I visited the Lexington Eye Associates in Concord, MA, for a routine eye exam. Ignoring an extensively long duration of a visit, the experience of communicating with a doctor’s assistant and the doctor himself during my eye exam was satisfying. When I received a bill from them, I was surprised to see that my visit was processed by their billing department as a sick visit. When I called them I was told that the doctor who met with me discovered a new medical condition, so that was why they treated my visit as a sick one. I was speechless after I heard about it because the doctor did not say anything about finding any new conditions in my eyes. Some time after I spoke to the billing department, the doctor called me and said that the newly found condition was mild, and there was nothing to worry about. Well, mild or severe, it is a “sick” condition, and I should have been notified about it during the visit. Disappointing.
My experience of ordering eyeglasses with their optical department left me somewhat frustrated as well. During the visit, everything was fairly satisfying. They took our vision insurance information, invoiced us, and we paid for our new glasses. Shortly after our visit, we received a call that they discovered that our insurance would not cover a certain part of our order this year, and we would have to wait for several months until our coverage would reset. Why didn’t they discover it during our visit when they worked on composing our invoice? Some lack of professional skills? It is a mystery. So, we canceled the affected order. I was also told that my new frame that I purchased from them would stop creaking after some time. After several months of using it, it is still creaking. Another disappointment.
