I'm deeply disappointed. My father went in for his eye exam and arrived just 9 minutes late due to traffic. However, he was told he wouldn't be attended to because of his tardiness. After insisting, the staff agreed to see him. His appointment was at 3:20, but he didn't get attended to until 5 pm. Following the eye exam, the doctor informed him that she couldn't provide a prescription and recommended seeing a specialist. Unfortunately, we didn't receive the referral until two days later.
It's unjust that we received disrespectful treatment for being just 9 minutes late but then had to wait over an hour to be seen. The lack of professionalism is evident. We won't be returning.

Thank God I had Dr. Goldstein!! He knew just what to do and after three years of suffering, my eye is fixed and healed!! I am eternally grateful. Also, the staff are all warm and welcoming, the office is clean, calming and cheerful. I couldn't say more about him...other than he's kinda my hero.

Walked in and the place was packed, probably +30 people sitting around.
I hate waiting unreasonable periods of time so I asked how long.
The answer was 3 hours, 1.5 hours before I’d be seen.
This is the classic practice that wants to pack as many clients to sit and wait for them so there are no down times that amount to lost earnings.
Told the front desk to cancel my appointment and left. Too many sheep will wait as long as someone tells them to. Not me. Too many doctors within 15 minutes of home to do that.

Wonderful, caring group of professionals. My team is outstanding. Dr. Greiger is knowledgeable, thorough, and detail-oriented. He always takes his time with me to be sure we're headed in the right direction. Jordan is a creative PT who is constantly looking for new exercises to suit my unique needs. Always encouraging, he never gave up on me. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Stratton Eyes
Horrible experience! Not only is it overpriced but I had to reorder lenses which I was charged $150 for and there were mistakes TWICE. I was informed of the first mistake but when I went to pick up the “correct” lenses only one was anti-glare. The person fitting my glasses did not catch the mistake while I tried them on, but thankfully I caught the mistake myself. I have had to wait over a month for my lenses and now have to wait even longer. In addition, the doctor I saw during my exam was dismissive to my concerns about the clarity of my distance vision and need for bifocals saying as we age our vision isn’t as clear— I am only 23. While I have a very strong prescription I have always been able to get clear vision with glasses until now. I will never return to Stratton Eyes after finally receiving my correct lenses and advise others to avoid especially if you have difficult prescriptions.

Good Dr, he could be more personable. He is strictly business and does not interact with his patients.
In other words, what you go, you go. He is a good doctor but he doesn't talk or ask anything of his patients. He is "what Chencha brought you" and goodbye.
The good thing is that it ships quickly.

I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience.
I very recently went to this clinic seeking a medical evaluation and laboratory testing for ailments that I've been undergoing for a lengthy period of time. Unfortunately, my interaction with the physician left me feeling disrespected, judged, and very reluctant to seek care there again, although I'm currently without medical insurance and presently can't afford medical care.
From the moment he entered the examination room, his tone and demeanor struck me as very impatient and contemptuous. Rather than creating an environment where I felt comfortable discussing my health concerns, I felt as though I was being scrutinized, judged and dismissed.
After he asked me what medications I take, I explained that I don't do pharmaceutical medications. His immediate response was, "What are you doing at this clinic then?" That question, combined with his contemptuous tone, made me feel as though my personal healthcare choices, from his perspective, somehow invalidated my reason for seeking medical care/laboratory services.
When I explained that I was there for laboratory testing, he responded that the clinic "can't do lab work for everything." As I clarified that I was simply requesting a reasonable starting point for testing of a potential vitamin/nutrient deficiency, he shook his head in what I perceived as disapproval. Throughout the appointment, his manner of speaking and overall demeanor left me with the impression that he was more interested in discounting my concerns than objectively evaluating them.
To his credit, he ultimately ordered the laboratory tests. However, no patient should have to endure a dismissive or contemptuous interaction before receiving care.
I also want to be fair and recognize that my experience with the rest of the staff was entirely different. The young woman who completed my intake at the front desk was courteous, kind, and professional. Likewise, the laboratory technician, Jeremiah, who drew my blood was respectful, professional, and made me feel at ease. They left an excellent impression and reflected the level of compassion and professionalism that every patient deserves.
I understand that free clinics operate with limited resources and that physicians must exercise clinical judgment, and my concern isn’t that every requested test should be ordered. My concern is that every patient deserves to be treated with professionalism, respect, and compassion, regardless of their healthcare preferences. In essence, patients should never leave a medical appointment feeling belittled or as though their concerns were dismissed before they were fairly considered.
I sincerely hope this feedback is received in the constructive spirit in which it's intended. My hope is that it encourages greater attention to respectful communication and patient-centered care while recognizing the excellent work of the front desk staff and laboratory technician, whose professionalism made a positive impression despite an otherwise disappointing experience.
**UPDATE:** Since writing my original review, I returned to the clinic this evening after work to discuss my laboratory results and was seen by a different physician. My experience with him was the complete opposite. He was courteous, professional, respectful, and took the time to explain my results in a manner that made me feel comfortable, heard, and genuinely cared for - it has restored much of my confidence in the clinic. Because of that experience, I believe it's important to distinguish between my interaction with one physician and my overall impression of the clinic. My criticism is directed solely at the conduct of the first physician I saw earlier this week, not at the clinic as a whole. My experiences with the front desk staff, the laboratory technician, and the physician who saw me during my follow-up visit this evening were all positive, and they exemplified the professionalism, compassion, and patient-centered care that every person seeking medical attention deserves.
Every Review metters. See what people say about clinics.
