We had gone here for a couple years and had no issues. However, their customer service has gone down. I went in to get a pair of sunglasses. I was told the lenses I wanted would take 3 weeks. When I called to see if they were in, I was told they weren't and they didn't know why and would call me back. After not hearing from then again for 3 to 4 days, I called again and was told they would call me back. I never heard back from them so I called the next day and was told my glasses were in. When I went in to get them, they had ordered standard lenses, not the ones I paid for. After waiting another 3 weeks, I called to see if they had arrived yet. I was put on hold for 5 minutes. I was told they would be mailed directly to me (I requested them to be mailed). I asked her to check to see if they were actually going to be direct mailed or go to them first. She put me on hold for 8 minutes and had completely forgotten about me. Then said only contacts would be direct mail. So this point I'm waiting on a call back but don't actually plan to hear back from them. Overall I'm really disappointed in the service I've decided l received the won't be coming back again or recommending them to anyone sad to say.

Extremely good Drs and Staff ! Always honest and helpful always,great care. Dr Eng has been a great Eye Dr for a long time here in Santa Maria and Dr Chris is equally amazing! He works so well with kids who's been seeing him for a few years now. It makes a big difference when the ppl care and are fam oriented. Also they will help you get the better price for your budget ! Which is always a plus when you truly need it. Thank you for your outstanding care ! We so appreciate it and wouldn't change my son's care for anything!

Dr Lam is such a gem and knows the best and newest technologies to get my eyes working to the best of their ability! She and Danielle also make sure I have the best glassses & lenses and it's made such a difference in my life. The dry eye tech she uses and even the lenses they use in my glasses have made sure my eyesight is the best it can be, and her IPL work even helped with my skin! She also is empathetic to my needs in terms of the kind of vision I aim for and has helped with my kids check ups as well! She always goes above and beyond to make sure we have the best experience and I'm grateful for her presence in the bay area.

After being scheduled for Cateract Surgery at Trinity Eye Solutions, after seen an Opthomologist at Acuity Eye Center in Lancaster and having my Pre-Opt completed, one day before I was supposed to begin eye drops, in preparation for surgery, I called to get my time slot for surgery. I received the time I was to be there for surgery. I received a call within about an hour from the Surgery Coordinator. I was told the Surgery Center was not contracted with Medicare! I don't know what is going on but I have contacted a different Doctor, and am setting up my surgery. This has been the worst experience I've had to deal with ever! I was left hanging! Nothing was done to help or correct the problem! I will never return to this Eye Group!

I have been to two eye doctors since getting glasses almost 15 years ago, and I have never had an experience like I did at Optometric Associates. The exam was thorough, the doctor explained everything she was doing and everything she saw from my tests. I left my previous doctor because it had been bought out by a corporate eye doctor and most of the staff had left. I was looking for an office with caring and knowledgeable staff, and Optometric Associates is more than I could have hoped for. I was able to find new glasses I love, they have great warranties on the lenses (a problem I had with my last doctor), and have timely service when it comes to getting your glasses. When picking out my frames, the optician and the front office staff gave me their opinions when I tried them on and did not rush me at all. I love it here and will always come back!

Marleny was super helpful and sweet. She made sure that I was taken care of and made especially sure I knew what I was getting into with my purchase. The whole examination process was simple and easy and the staff made sure I understood what was happening and explained to me my results, would recommend. :P

It’s definitely a love / hate area(reason for 4 stars) not always a great experience depending on what you are doing. it can be beautiful! The restaurants are some of the best, have shops and other stores, what makes it such a crowded diverse place is it being a doctor office / urgent care, pharmacy, bus station , Dental and eye care. There are different areas to same area , also have students from Bristol community college, cafe center. Also a great clothing store “carters” with amazing quality items. Also get my screens repairs at store in downtown and phone cases, they have amazing prices, Very diverse area, communities within communities.
