I had a very disappointing experience at Aran Eye Associates, and I feel compelled to warn others, especially families with elderly parents. From the moment you sign in, the front desk staff is rude and dismissive. There is no warmth, no patience, and no sense of care for patients or their families. While waiting with my mother, who is 84 years old, I chose to stand against the wall instead of sitting. I was not blocking anyone, not in the way, and not near any hallway. A nurse approached me in a very rude and aggressive manner and ordered me to sit down. She stood there and would not leave until she saw me sit, speaking to me in a demeaning, authoritarian way. It was completely unnecessary and disrespectful. Today was even worse. We arrived for an appointment that had been scheduled three weeks in advance. After waiting over an hour to be seen, we were suddenly told that we “no longer had an appointment” and that it was “too soon.” If I had not been there advocating for my mother, she would have been completely confused and dismissed. An elderly patient should never be treated this way. I do NOT recommend this office to seniors or anyone who needs compassionate, organized care. Please do not send your elderly parents here alone. To top it off, the waiting room is uncomfortable and poorly maintained. It feels neglected and unwelcoming, which only adds to the overall negative experience. This office seriously needs to address staff behavior, patient respect, and basic professionalism.

I have been going to Dr. Burns since the late 1990s. He is a Real Human Being who shows care and concern for his patients. He first helped me with vision changes and eyeglasses, then later, with cataract surgery for one eye, then the other, allowing me to read without glasses! I have dry eyes, and he has provided punctal plugs to help with this. No matter what he does, he explains things clearly, never rushes, always listens carefully to my concerns and questions. His staff is extraordinary. Marylou is the center from which goodness radiates outward. I don't know what I would do without Dr. Burns, Marylou, and all of his loyal staff. I will be a patient of Dr. Burns forever, or until I move out of California completely, whichever comes first.

Can't say enough good things about this place. I had an emergency with my cat. They got me in right away. The staff and Doctors are very nice and explain everything in detail. My cat ended up needing surgery. The staff go above and beyond. They call you the next day to see how your pet is doing. They even sent my cat a get well card and a handmade mouse with catnip in it. I've never experienced this compassion or kindness at any other vet's office and I've been to half dozen in 40 years. I'll happily drive the hour and a half it takes to get to this facility any time my cat needs eye care.

The staff was amazing, very funny and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is cool and the technology of the hybrid appointment is great! Very high class. By the time I left I was in a better brand of contact with 20/10 vision, much better than when I walked in all at a way better price.

Saw our granddaughter this morning for a very thorough exam. Was impressed by the physician's and the staff's bedside manner. They worked so well with mom and baby. Made what was a scary experience not so scary for our family. Would recommend this practice to anyone. Thank you again!

Dr Award is the best eye specialist in the whole Miami. Hi is very knowledgeable and extremely professional. His staff meets his standards. Great experience every time !!

Best eye exam I've ever had. Super friendly staff, they even have a glasses store right next door!

The facility has state-of-the-art equipment. And the staff like Emma, Dr. Perez and Alexandria are very warm, knowledgeable and patient!
