LISA WAS THE BEST. SHE DID THE EXTRAMILE, TO GIVE OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE. SHE WAS ABLE TO FIX MY GLASSES, THAT WERE IN HORRIBLE CONDITIONS. SHE WAS AVAILABLE TO TURN THEM INTO A NEW PAIR OF GLASSES. I REALLY APPRECIATE IT THE HELP AND SERVICE.

Dr. Godwin is AMAZING. She took such good care of me. She diagnosed what I had immediately, and took all the time in the world to explain every detail of what I was dealing with to me. She cared a lot about my progress and was really supportive during all my visits. I felt so safe and heard. Her team is also so great, very kind and helpful. I can't recommend her enough - no wonder she has straight 5 star reviews. P.S. The space is incredible. The aesthetic makes me feel so good being there 💙

Used to go to a different place in the mall, but my company got acquired by another, and they did not accept new insurance and this place does. They do not make any glasses on site, as the other spot did. I was given a promise date the day I was leaving for vacation, and when I told her that wouldn’t work and I’d probably try somewhere else, she said the promise dates are just an estimate and to call a few days before and they would be there. It is now the day before and still nothing. Very difficult to get someone on the phone. Also prices seem higher the other places for similar products and services.

I had two visits to this location. I too was a little nervous about my visit. The entire staff was warm & welcoming. Sonja did all my tests. She was very warm, kind, engaging and made me feel extremely comfortable. My nervousness melted away. She is truly a hiddem gem & asset to the team. Dr Erharhdt was very thorough in her explanations of the tests, results, what to expect on follow-up visits and also if I had any questions. She was also very engaging. By my second visit, I felt very comfortable. This is a great facility and would definitely recommend to anyone.

The optician is good. The people who speak with you about your glasses frames are very imperfect, to say the least. First, they sold me last summer a frame that could not accommodate progressives, although that is what the doctor ordered and that is certainly what I paid for, at added expense. Then the frame they sold me, which has plastic fishline under the glasses, broke the first day I was in Munich on a Visiting Professorship, so I had to resort to the previous pair of glasses for over three months. Upon my return to Berkeley, in mid-January, I asked them to fix the glasses. They "repaired" them and the repair lasted just about a week. When I took them back soon afterwards, when I was scheduled for a regular eye exam, they said the glasses (less than a year old, by several months) were "too old" to be repaired. I will not return to the glasses frame shop ever again.

Grew up getting different frames from here. The owner is a great guy! Prices are affordable.

This was my first visit to LB Family Optometry. Initially I was impressed with making my appointment over the phone. It was quick and simple. I appreciated the staff calling me when they had a cancellation because they knew I really needed to be seen. I didn’t expect that service. Thank you! I also appreciate the friendly reminders via email, text and a call. Great touch! The office location is perfect, with enough parking. The office is clean, safe and appealing. The front and back office staff were professional and polite. I was seen by Dr. Pham and she is wonderful (understatement). She explained everything very well and made the experience valuable. I look forward to my next visit. They have a lovely showroom of their eye glass frames with a variety of options for every budget. I feel confident to recommend this office for your eye care needs.
