I had the pleasure of having Dr. Fung as my eye surgeon for both a cornea transplant as well as cataract surgery. I felt very fortunate to experience his meticulous attention to detail in his diagnosis of my rare condition. Dr. Fung was also prepared with several options for approaching solutions to correct my issues as well both long term and short term. Although, I’ll admit that the UCLA appointment scheduling system is challenging to say the least, my experience with Dr. Fung, Dr. Heilwell, Dr. Sam & the whole staff left me feel cared for, respected and supported. I’d highly recommend all of my doctors and UCLA Stein Eye Center for treatment of degenerative eye issues for you or your family.

Bill and the crew from Saturday 9/9 were amazing. They resolved an issue for my MIL who has Alzheimer's quickly and without question. They were absolutely the most friendly and accommodating group. LensCrafters should be proud they have people like these in there stores.

If I could give 1000 stars I would! Had my procedure (don't call it surgery lol) today right on time. Everyone was so nice in the room despite me being nervous & loopy from the low dose of Valium. Dr Atwal was super sweet & had a great nurturing manner. The one lady held my shoulder & was holding my hand to help me stay calm. It doesn't hurt to perform, it's just burny & irritating. I think it's more of a animalistic nature to be afraid when something is so close to your face but they were so gentle. I was in the room for 15 minutes total. I can see great in spurts (better than I ever think I have) then my eyes get tired which is normal. They give excellent instructions for aftercare. Just keep using those drops! I feel totally confident in spending the money & trusting my eyes to Dr. Atwal's amazing team! I just feel bad I never really said thank you because I felt beat after the procedure! 😔. Belated thank you!

Ted and his daughter came to my moms house to check her out and get a prescription for new glasses. They were amazing, friendly, professional and very helpful. I can’t thank them enough.

*Doctor doesn’t clean anything between appointments.* the door was open as he saw 2 people, never wiped anything down. Doesn’t have any cleaning wipes in the exam room. Asked the front desk guy to quote me on contact prescription based on our insurance info (he had it in the system) before deciding if we wanted to do it or not. He misquoted by about $100 so we ended up paying way more than we thought we would.

Very patient, thorough and personable. Answered all my questions and provided info in plain English. Excellent educator. Definitely recommend.

I was here twice in 2 weeks to have cataracts removed in each eye by Dr. Carrie Palmer… This facility has a combined 4.9 ⭐️ star rating for a reason & thats because its a 5 ⭐️ place.. I’ve had over 20 surgeries (yes 20), in my lifetime, so I’m more than qualified as a reviewer.. The professionalism starts at the front desk after you walk in and doesnt stop until they wheel you out the front door to your ride home after your surgery / procedure.. They even call you the day after to make sure you’re ok.. 👏👏👏👍👍👌👌👏👏👏 to the entire staff there… Thank you all, for your kindness, compassion, and professionalism , Eric Weed

I had cataract surgery.and was referred to Dr. David Kingrey M.D.. From my initial visit to my last, every aspect, process, and protocol was "top-notch". Insofaras the interactions with Dr. Kingrey and his team? From the front desk to the professional support staff in back ... everyone reflected professionalism, kindness, an interest in what I inquired about. I am so grateful to Dr. Kingrey and his team. God bless you and thank you for improving my vision and taking such good care of me.

Prescription was incorrect. Chaotic office. Unprofessional, disorganized, poor service.
