Visited today to see if they could help me with replacing a lost screw on my sunglasses. I had actually purchased them from Sunglass Hut upstairs and they referred me to LensCrafters. Heather was so kind to replace the screw for me for free and also clean my glasses, it took two minutes and saved me so much trouble. So sweet of her and she was so kind. Will be sure to come again to peruse some glasses. Thank you!

I love this store. Everyone is very helpful and go out of their way to get exactly what I need. Since day one of the virus GHP has been there for us from day one and didn’t miss a beat. Just really solid people. 😎 …

Amazing place, the staff is so sweet and caring. Made me feel comfortable when I was nervous about the surgery. My eyesight was horrible. And now I feel more confident. Everything is brighter and clearer. Speaking from my experience. To each their own. But would 100% recommend.

I needed a replacement contact while traveling from Florida in our RV. No Grand Rapids optometry was able to give me an appointment that would work with my travel schedule, but one did suggest Lens Crafters. I had a full eye exam on Tuesday, and the lens I needed on Friday - same week. The staff was professional, and friendly. Dr Hunt was knowledgeable and had a great chair side manor. It was a great experience.

Nicole was so sweet and helpful, she did such a good job of explaining things to me with the insurance and upgrade options. The other girls working were kind and staying busy helping everyone. The doctor was quick and thorough. Definitely recommend

In April 2023, I visited New York Eye Care for an eye test and to order new glasses. While I appreciated an opportunity to also try contact lenses, my overall experience turned into a frustrating ordeal. Below are the key issues that led me to not recommend this establishment: They need to change in the following areas. Lack of Communication: Despite placing my glasses order in April with a promised 10-day delivery timeframe, the lack of communication regarding the status of my order was disheartening. Despite making two follow-up calls in May, no updates were provided, and a promise to get a call from the supervisor never materialized, leaving me uninformed and concerned. Misleading Information: In June, when I reached out again, I was surprised to learn that my glasses were still not ready due to an alleged missing downpayment. No mention of a downpayment was made during my initial visit or previous follow-up call, but I reluctantly paid a $20 down payment, feeling unsure if my glasses would ever arrive. Additionally, my inquiry about contact lenses was met with an unhelpful response, leaving me feeling dissatisfied. Delayed Order Processing: Despite my initial request in April, my glasses order was only processed in June after the downpayment was made. The promised additional 10-day delivery time frame had already been missed, and to date, my glasses were still not ready as of August 5th, which reflects poorly on the company's efficiency. Unsympathetic Customer Service: Upon requesting to speak with a supervisor to discuss compensation for the inconvenience caused, I encountered an uncooperative attitude from Miss Joanne, who identified herself as the owner. My legitimate concerns were dismissed as mere "arguing," and her lack of interest in hearing my concerns and patience was evident. I was told " You ONLY paid $20 downpayment and ONLY ordered your glasses in June now you want a discount! I don't have time to argue with customers!" Missing Communication Attempts: Despite claims that a representative had reached out to me regarding my glasses, since June I received no calls, texts, or voicemails from the company about my order, adding further frustration to the experience. Uninformed about Discounts: In an attempt to quell my request for a discount the owner stated that my glasses were already discounted, yet I was never informed of any such discount during the ordering process. This lack of transparency left me feeling uncertain about the pricing. Lack of Transparency: Despite the company's mistakes and my extended wait, I was offered only a meager $10 discount, which failed to acknowledge the inconvenience I endured. Poor Customer Service Skills: While one staff member demonstrated professionalism and friendliness throughout the past four months, the other female representative lacked essential customer service skills multiple times, and the approach taken by the owner made the overall experience even more unpleasant. In conclusion, New York Eye Care's lack of communication, misinformation, delayed order processing, and unhelpful customer service make it an establishment I cannot recommend. Transparent communication about deposit requirements and a more empathetic approach toward customers who face inconveniences are crucial for fostering trust and ensuring customer satisfaction. I do not recommend them.

My first couple of visits here were good. They changed my doctor on my second appointment for some reason which I was okay with at first. I came here having been in a lot of pain for a while not knowing if this is the right place to be. When the doctor couldn’t find anything and talked with my primary care doctor his attitude shifted. I was treated as though I was an annoyance to him and he didn’t want to be there. He became very adamant that my problem is “somatic”. I have since fired this doctor as well as my primary care doctor and found much better ones that care about me and believe me. I have been able to receive real care by wonderful doctors. I do not appreciate being gaslit into thinking I have some kind of mental illness instead of real pain. Psychiatry is not the profession of these doctors or my primary care physician so even the suggestion is insulting. I’m giving 3 stars because the staff was wonderful and they did do all of the testing necessary. So if you have an obvious eye issue I’m sure this place might be good for you. But as a young woman with chronic health issues that are tricky to diagnose-it wasn’t very pleasant in terms of how I was handled by the doctor. I hope the next person like me who comes in you’ll do better by and believe them.

The doctors at children's eye care are great. My 6 year old was rushed to the hospital due to severe trauma to his eye. ( a pocket knife wound in his eye.) The doctors and staff have all been so great so happy they were able to repair the damage. His eye site is improving everyday thanks to the great care he received at children's eye care. Dr Rajesh Rao, MD did his surgery he excellent with kids and reassuring with scared parents.

My family had a great experience here! Everybody from the front desk to Michelle to Dr. Ranz was very informative & helpful. They educated me on things that were harming my eyes and I've been to an optometrist for the past four years and never received this information! My son was diagnosed with bilateral cataracts at the age of three months & we have to special order his glasses and lenses and Michelle has been great helping us with that!! I definitely recommend them & have already referred my sister over to their office!
