They messed up on my mother’s glasses order, ordered the wrong Frame and never followed up with us. We’ve been in and out every month due to receiving a text claiming the glasses are ready. And Every-time the optical person said she’d follow up on it but not once did anything happen. Now 4 months later I called to check on the progress, they tell us it’s been rejected by the insurance. Not once did they reached out to us or explain about the situation. Now My mother is now stuck with frames that she didn’t want.

Front desk staff is not very friendly and often seem distracted by their behind the desk duties, or annoyed when patients have questions. I go there for a Glaucoma condition, less than 5 months now. Back office doesn't seem to communicate well with front desk. Dunno if its the computer system or poor communication. When confirming appts doctor just gave or has changed I find myself waiting for up to 10-15 mins reception to clarify or confirm appts. But appt updates take a lot longer. The office mainly cater to the Spanish speaking community which isn't a Big problem, but I often feel my questions take longer because I have to ask them more than once to get a clear answer. This is mostly with the front desk and some of the medical staff assisting the doctors. Not everyone. I only speak English so this feels challenging sometimes. There is no language barriers with the doctors though. So far, so good. Time will tell

Dr. Kristina Post is a wonderful ophthalmologist. She treats my vision issues due to medical related issues. She is always pleasant, thorough and professional. She takes time to listen and hear my concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Post.

I can tell you that they had very poor customer service and told them so. Left message for office manager and didn't get a call back after being transferred to her phone, not surprising that she didn't answer or call me back. If you want great care and customer service I would suggest Casey Eye great fast service. There own Legacy emergency physician sent us to Casey if that tells you anything. Unfortunately insurance made my brother go here after his surgery was complete. His appointment was at 9:00AM Dr. Came in to see him 1hour 50mins later.

Dr. Stathopoulous and the staff of Eyesight Medical Center are excellent. In our many years of being patients at this center, my family and I have always found them to be professional, kind, willing to listen to health concerns and answer any and all questions, as well as offer great medical care.

There are certainly positives about this practice, but the lack of consistent communication, professionalism, and transparency around fees and out-of-pocket expenses that insurance doesn't cover is what justifies the low rating for me. The front office staff is pleasant enough, but their professionalism leaves a bit to be desired. When trying to set up the appointment, I had to reach out to VSP myself to verify my coverage, as they kept "getting an error message" when trying to do so, and were either unwilling, or unable to do anything further. So the options I was left with were to pay for the visit out-of-pocket, or do the policy/coverage verification legwork myself. Oh, and it took me less than 2 minutes and nothing more than the most basic information when calling VSP to verify that I had coverage with not just one, but two plans. Still unsure as to why a business that works with insurance providers daily couldn't seem to make this happen. When checking in upon arrival, as with most Eyecare providers, they offer additional "upcharge" testing services that insurance typically does not cover, and each has a set fee that is shown up front. We'll come back to this. I informed them when scheduling the appointment, as well as upon arrival, that there were very specific tests requested by my Physician that I needed performed before beginning a new medication, and brought a list of the tests I needed. I was informed that there was one of the tests that they didn't have the machine for on-site, but that a sister-location could perform that test separately. I agreed to go ahead with the appointment and testing that they could do on site, and had them schedule me for the additional test at a later date. I then asked if the two "upcharge" tests were ones that were requested by my physician, and was told that yes, they were. It turns out only one of them was, and that there were actually two tests, not one, that they were unable to perform on site. But I was not informed of this until the Doctor was actually completely done with my exam. Full disclosure, I am a former Eye-Care professional, and even though it has been a while since I was in scrubs daily, I am well aware of the processes and procedures leading up to the actual exam performed by the Doctor. That being said, the pre-tests felt rushed and were performed with no explanation of what was happening. Though not necessary to an accurate exam, most people appreciate at least a basic explanation of what to expect with each test. The actual exam was the polar opposite of the rest of my experience. The Doctor was pleasant, very thorough, and explained every step in detail. She even went so far as to stop at multiple points during the exam to ask if I had any questions or concerns. She went over information and into detail that I have never had ANY other Doctor go into before. To sum up...I wouldn't necessarily avoid this practice, but just make very sure you ask plenty of questions up front and go over everything ad nauseum to ensure you are all on the same page. Given how good the actual eye exam portion of the visit was, the fact that the rest of the experience was so needlessly disappointing marred what would have otherwise been a 5 star experience.

I called the office with a painful eye problem late in the afternoon and was able to see Dr Pribis the next morning at 7:40 am. She was extremely professional, friendly, and helpful. She wrote out in detail a number of products and instructions that were exactly what I needed. She also gave me a detailed and easy to understand explanation of why I had this problem, which a prior provider in another practice had not told me. I am very happy to be under the good care of Dr Pribis.
