Great Experience. The staff is super friendly and helpful when picking out glasses.(thanks Natalie!) The Dr. took her time during the exam and walked me through step by step of all the procedures and what I should look out for to prevent sight deterioration. I have been going to them for over a year and have always had a positive experience.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Our daughter (Toddler) had her vision checked at Dr. Young office. They prescribed some glasses. We paid for the frames but while shopping for the frames we told the person there, that all glasses look to big for her little face. We were told that the frames were gonna be adjusted. Shortly our daughter was complaining that she was having headaches. When we saw the prescription she had I was not convinced. We went to her office and the Dr. Young was to arrogant and telling us that she had 20 years of experience and she was not gonna refund the funds of the frames. THIS WAS BACKED IN APRIL 2022 WE WAITED THIS LONG TO POST A REVIEW BECAUSE WE GOT A SECOND OPINION OF A DOCTOR THAT HAS OVER 30 YEARS WORKING WITH KIDS ONLY AND GUESS WHAT! OUR DAUGHTER DOES NOT NEED GLASSES. WE TOOK OUR DAUGHTER TO DR. YOUNG BECAUSE OUR INSURANCE SUGGESTED TO DO AN EYE VISOIN CHECK FOR PREVENTION. They will tell you that you need glasses just for the $$$. At this point we lost close to $200 but I'm so glad i went with my gut and the same day we requested the refund and was denied I PUT THE FRAMES AWAY AND TOLD OUR LITTLE ONE YOU ARE NOT GONNA WEAR THESE UNTIL ANOTHER DR SEE YOU. WE ARE HAPPY THAT WE DIDNT MESSED UP HER VISION Do your research before going to this doctor. I would pay a little more for a consultation else where than trying to save a little and going here. IF YOU CALL ALL THE OPTOMETRIST OF THE AREA (HOMESTEAD, FL) NONE OF THEM WILL ACCEPT KIDS BELOW 6 OR 8 AND THERE IS A REASON FOR THAT, IS JUST NOT ETHICAL IF YOU DONT SPECIALIZED WITH KIDS ,THEN WHY PROVIDE THE SERVICE. DR. YOUNG THERE WAS A REASON YOUR FRAMES DIDNT FIT OUR LITTLE ONE IS BECAUSE THEY ARE FOR DESIGN FOR KIDS 8+. YOU SHOULDNT SELL THEM TO KIDS BELOW THOSE AGES.

This place rocks and its my go to. Very up to date and modern. The dr is very knowledgeable and humble. He rocks and knows what he's doing. The staff gets everything done and this place im happy i found it.

I really love the fact that my first appointment was thorough & I was able to ask the questions i needed to ask. Dr.Zimmerman is very efficient & She takes pride in what she does in which i could tell. I appreciate that, especially as a makeup artist, Ive learned its important to listen and understand your clients. Im giving 4 stars off the fact that i do feel they are a bit overpriced with the glasses prices. I brought in my own frames and still had to pay $565, I loved my experience overall. Fast forward to recieving the glasses they did not feel comfortable and were blurry in which ive been wearing them over a week. I thought 1 week would be enough time, Luckily they do remakes so i will be getting one & Hopefully from there ill be okay to work with these glasses. As a makeup artist its vital im able to see up close & I do need to be at my best in order to do my job properly. Thankyou to Dr. Zimmerman for giving me the hope i need to keep trying.

Very thorough and in depth exams. Every other eye doctor I’ve been to said my eyes were fine, come to find out I have astigmatism. Same with my S/O he’s always been told he didn’t need glasses but has had issues with his eyes since he was young, we both left knowing we would receive our glasses within 2-3 weeks.

They rejected me at their urgent care because I had an appointment at another facility in three days. I told them I wanted to be seen sooner because I didn't feel good. Lady said no, I am canceling your visit today. They simply don't care about you or you well-being.

Had a very positive experience today. I purchased a pair of prescription sunglasses and regular glasses for my daughter. The service that I had received was amazing, thorough, and informatively guided to my needs for the protection of my eyes as well as my child’s eyes. Jalynn and Martha were very helpful and made the process of purchase affordable and uncomplicated. Thank you so much for the help today and I will definitely recommend friends and family of my to give it a try. ☺️

I had no problems with this place whatsoever. I got my lasik done in 2014, nine years ago and the best decision I could of ever made. I got the deal from a Groupon best $1500, I've ever spent. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I'm going back to get another round. I've been in Kuwait for a 1.5 years and my vision is getting worse.

I've been coming here for years and always had outstanding service from a professional, caring staff no matter what department I visit with my family. Regarding the previous post referencing the person with the "service animal," I appreciate Sharp removing unauthorized animals from a medical facility. Too many people call their untrained, non-certified "comfort animals" their service animals. More businesses are starting to crack down on the abuse of this designation, protecting their other customers from the needy, inconsiderate few. I'm sure Sharp would not eject a real service animal.True service animals have extensive training and are certified as such. Your comfort doggy isn't automatically protected by the powers-that-be so they can be carried around medical facilities and restaurants that are smart enough to put health concerns in front of political correctness. Good job Sharp!
