The office is clean, efficient and courteous. My appointments generally start on time and administrative billing is always well explained. The optometrists are thorough and kind.

Outstanding service and empathy which isn’t seen much anymore these days. Vesna was very kind to help me with something very small but for me was a big problem. She fixed my glasses quickly from the heart no charge…. Definitely going back for other reasons when necessary.

I recently had surgery on my cornea about four months ago and I wanted to share my experience about the surgery and regarding the moderate sedation that a lot of people get nervous about and I want to give some reassurance. So my surgery was in September to remove nodules, and calcium deposits from the cornea and that surgery was in the afternoon and I would have moderate sedation which means I would still be technically awake and be able to respond. That may be a little bit nervous because I wasn’t gonna be fully asleep, but I would be still pretty sedated and be able to speak to the doctor or hear what they’re saying. But I’ll keep going. My surgeon was Dr. Bowman and he is an excellent doctor. He’s very good at telling you what to expect, but in a very easy way, where you’re able to understand it, and why the treatment is needed, and Etc. So I was in the preoperative area, and I was a little bit nervous. And they were going to inject my eye with local anesthesia, but in this case, I was going to be given propofol to induce a sleep, or put me into a deep restful state for about 5 to 10 minutes while they did that which means I would be not even aware of what they’re doing, because I would be under. Then I would wake up but be more relaxed, and I might find myself in the preoperative area or rolling down the hallway to the operating room. And what they actually did was give me versed once I got into the operating room and they were about to start prepping my eye for the surgery. Versa is what they give people through IVs to calm them down before surgery. So I remember waking up after they were done with the injections and the preventative area and I was in the hallway when I woke up and I found myself moving on the stretcher, and they were wheeling me to the operating room. I was still a little bit sleepy for sure, but I can remember everything that was going on around me and I was aware. And I remember going into the operating room and they parked the stretcher as my surgeon was greeting me and the operating room seemed pretty big and it acted a lot in there and they were getting equipment ready. And my surgeon asked me to turn my head and so I did, and I found myself a little more comfortable actually but then I began to get a little bit dizzy again which probably meant they were giving me versed. once they started pushing it through the IV. Like I said, I remember getting a little bit dizzy but then I cannot remember anything after that. I don’t recall nothing until right after the surgery was over. So I can assure you if they give you that medication for moderate sedation, there’s a very good chance you will not remember anything at all that happened and therefore, you will think you’ve been asleep. and that also makes the time seem much quicker. this means I don’t even remember the doctor talking to me during surgery. I don’t remember anything that happened at all from when they were cleaning my eyes because the medication was given to me just before hand. And then the next thing I remember, after that medication was given is the unlocking the stretcher and me going off to recovery. And I thought wow. I don’t even remember what happened at all. This is amazing. And therefore, I was able to experience no memory at all from right before the surgery to right after. The good thing, your eye is numb too. everybody there was very nice from the front to the back. So if I ever have to get another surgery involving my eyes, I’m coming right back to this place. so that’s my review on my very smooth surgery experience.

I rarely write reviews but I feel like more people need to know about this place.
Dr. Konradi is as sweet as can be and is very thorough. Let's start with the price, I checked around and she promptly emailed me back with the price of an eye exam which was half of what all of the other places were quoting me, well at least the ones who responded. Then there was the exam, she went through the exam and came up with a prescription but it didn't feel quite right so she asked if we could do it again, of course I said yes and the second time it was perfect. This is not to say she isn't competent, this is to show how much she cared to get it right! Turns out my vision itself is fine but I have a mild astigmatism which was making thing a little blurry, now I can see perfect again! She stated she wanted to get me back to 20/15 because that's what I am used to!
If you are needing an eye exam, definitely give this place a shot!

I've been seeing Dr. Thurmond for a few years and I have always had a good experience with him. He takes his time, answers your questions and addresses your concerns, and is very personable. Their techniques and equipment are up-to-date, the facility is beautiful, the front desk ladies are kind and pleasant, and the techs are a dream to work with.

If you choose Dr. Slinger for eye issues prepare for a very extensive exam using the most sophisticated equipment available. You are not on a time clock here. This eye specialist will take as much time needed to find and correct your visual concerns. The office staff reflects a warm personal upbeat feeling as well at Integrated Eyecare.

Friendly front desk staff. Doctor answered all my questions and had me checking out in a very reasonable amount of time. Rachel at in the glasses/contacts Shop was extremely helpful and provided me with many options as well as the prices for each. Pleasant experience overall and will return.

This is the worst experience I have ever had with getting a prescription. They gave me glasses that I could not see out of at all because it was blurry. They attempted to fix it twice and when they couldn’t the told me to look into vision therapy. I have had glasses for so long and they were the only place that I have ever had this issue with. Ultimately I ended up with a completely unusable pair of glasses. They also will not stop calling me about scheduling an appointment for this year and it seems that they gave my contact information to some type of call center environment. Go any where else if you want glasses you can use.
