Didn't wait long after arriving for my appointment. Dr. Hassan and his staff were very nice, patiently listened to my questions and answered them all. I did not feel rushed in any way and felt they were very thorough. I'm new to the Des Moines area and he came highly recommended and trained at The Mayo Clinic. Great credentials and very personable. Would definitely recommend if you need a new eye Dr.

This is for Dr. Asad Abbas (Ophthalmologist) First of all let me tell you guys that she had submited her both card of Medicare & Medicaid and front desk lady had been made copies. That was Jan.12, 2026 my wife visited Sugar Land Tx location for her Lacromal Punctum (watering from the eyes) Dr. Called her on Jan.23,2026 for the surgery to stop tearing he started from her left eye but he failed couldn't do and told her to go other Ophthalmologist for this particular surgery and Dr. gave her 2 names also before that surgery what he couldn't do the clinic responsible woman had taken approval from the insurance and she informed us on phone. But after 3-4 months they started send statement by mail $167.92 and Today July 01,2026 I called insurance United Health Care then insurance representative talk to Dr. Bay town clinic Manager he check and told insurance woman in conference call that he had not patient Medicaid info that's why account office sending statement by mail. So what is all that while patient is a member of (QMB +) not eligible out of pocket I guess sugar Land office didn't forward Medicaid info to account office but Why ? Think about it.

The office is nice and everyone working here are so nice! I’m never waiting more that 5 minutes in the lobby. The visit is quick and to the point. We go for our annual eye exam.

Save your money and go somewhere else. Since MyEyDr. acquired Sweet-Obenauf a couple of years ago the customer service has become absolute trash. The front office is particularly rude and astonishingly incompetent. Do not rely on them to give you accurate information about coverage and benefits prior to your appointment. They will give you inaccurate and misleading information before your appointment which will result in surprise charges and forfeiture of benefits. If you do find yourself at this unfortunate place, demand a printed and itemized estimate of all charges (including implications around the timing of your glasses and contacts purchases) before a single finger comes near your eyeballs. But honestly, just take your time, energy, and cash elsewhere. Zero stars.

Wonderful. Mayra took her time with me and addressed all of my concerns. She has the patience of a saint!!! If you want a helpful knowledgeable person, please go see Mayra. I promise, you will be happy you did!!!

This was my first time going to this office. I selected it based on the online reviews and I was not disappointed. Everyone is super friendly, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. The eyeglass selection was pretty good. The prices were high, but no higher than other private offices. The said it will be a 2-week turnaround. I'll update this once I receive them. The doctor has wonderful bedside manner, patient when explaining things, and an excellent active listener. Another great thing is they offer services for Spanish-speaking customers. Great location (5 mins from my home) in the Publix shopping center. Ample parking. Very clean environment, comfortable seating, and fast, courteous service. All around a great experience.

This facility has some of the best and high quality massages I have ever found while in Michigan for the last Three years! I keep coming back because of the perfect amount of applied pressure and how the staff are easily able to locate the points of issue and expertly work on them! I highly recommend coming here if you have not and also recommend getting the 60 minute massage! Dr. Xu and the massage therapist are always more and more amazing!

Today was my first visit with Eye Care Associates of Southport and I can honestly say that I’m excited for my next appointment. From the front desk staff to my optometrist, everyone was extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable. The optometrist was very attentive and genuinely concerned with issues that I had. I would highly recommend booking your next eye appointment with them.

Brought my 1 year old here and Dr.talia was so rude and was only worried about getting him in and out she prescribed my son with some heavy glasses he can't even see took 3 months to see him he is severely cross eyed. But she sure didn't forget to repeat 20$ for prescription because insurance doesn't cover it and when we were leaving she snatched the 20$ from her receptionist put it in her pocket and walked away not even looking at us. Finally I paid cash and got a total different opinion and prescription. She needs to go to a retirement home or a long vacation. This is not your vocation it's ridiculous how this system works.
