Not Actually LGBTQ-Friendly. Not sure why they listed themselves as such. I briefly mentioned to them that I am in the process of changing my legal name, so to refer to me as that for the visit so the change doesn't surprise them. Dr. Amalfi Blanco refuses to do so, instead going on ramblings of how beautiful my old name is, if I know the biblical meaning, how I remind her of her daughter, how I'm "practically a baby" (I am a grown man), how if I think I'll regret these hormones, etc. Somehow, this devolved into an entire unwanted talk about whether I believe in God and how "like a fish without water dies, humanity without its Creator will die. We must stop playing God as we only destroy everything." If I wanted to talk religion, I'd go to a priest, not my eye doctor. Take that LGBTQ-Friendly out of your attributes and show some basic courtesy to a client simply asking to be called by his name.

I absolutely love Eyemart Express! I got some prescription sunglasses and regular prescription glasses the same day I brought my prescription. I received both glasses within 18 minutes, they really do mean express. They Originally told me they would be ready within an hour. So, even though they got them done faster i appreciated them giving me a chunk of time just in case I need to run an errand. The staff was attentive as soon as we walked in the door. I brought my kids and as a mom it's important people treat my kiddos kindly. I was nervous they would get frustrated with them but the staff was kind and patient with us. Great service!!

I have been going to Dr.Kastner's office for over 10 years. She's absolutely amazing and makes you feel like family. She's honest, knowledgeable and most of all caring. Her and her staff are very welcoming; Obi, Naraly and Maya. I highly recommend coming here.

Wonderful experience there. Everyone was incredibly nice, and knowledgeable. It felt like I'd been going there for years, even though it was my first time.

Kerataconus pt. The worst lens fitting ever. The front office talk about not actually doing ones job such a waste of time and money.

Doctor was great! My complaint here is that while I understand some things are a medical necessity and recommended, it is unethical for neither the front desk or the person doing the pre-tests to tell you a part of the visit isn’t covered by insurance (retinal scan). They tell you after the fact at checkout. Thankfully, the amount isn’t all that much and I can afford it but working in a different medical field where we take all types of insurances including Medicaid, is it not the standard that your patients be informed up front if you know something won’t be covered? Now whether or not they can opt out of it or you have to turn them away because they don’t want to pay is the patient’s decision and issue at that point.

Wonderful office and wonderful staff. I especially appreciated it when they were able emergently fix my sins glasses after he stepped on them and bent the frame an ripped the wires. My son had his glasses within an hour and could finally see! Thank you!

Who would of thought getting your eye exam would be a tranquil experience. From the ambiance of the office to the friendliness of the staff, everything is luxury. The doctor is very knowledgeable and throughly explains everything. The selection of frames are designed to fit any budget, whether it be designer or otherwise. I would recommend Luxur-eyes Optometric center to everyone.

I got some safety glasses done here and I have to give them props for the time it took to receive them and the quality of the work. I tried to have them done by a competitor and they failed miserably. I will not only recommend them but I will only use them from now on.
