I wasn't going to write a review at all, but I feel as if I might be holding back from helping someone in the future by not doing so. Had I read any reviews similar to the one I am about to write prior to my visit with Dr. Peter Wilcox, I assure you, I would not have made the 3 hour one way trip to see him. Dr. Peter Wilcox kept trying different lenses for me, and it kept giving me eye strain. He said he didn't know what to tell me, then later he wrote a prescription for me and told me that I had to "stop asking questions and just try it." I asked him what the prescription was, and he said "Don't worry about it. Just get it. You're not the doctor." By this time I was furious and ended up not going with it because I drove all the way out to see him because due to our phone conversation a few weeks prior, I really thought he cared about my issues and wanted to help. Now fast forward months after seeing him, and finally being referred to a vision eye therapist by one of my old doctors, I finally know what my problem is. As it turns out, I do not need any eye glass prescription at all. My problem is not eye sight. It is a muscle focusing issue that primarily occurs when looking at any technology screen for too long, that only eye vision therapy can correct. This is the reason for getting written multiple different prescriptions and why none of them have worked and why I kept getting eye strain. My Board Certified eye vision therapist was able to thoroughly explain to me what was going on with my vision and now I finally understand. No more guessing games. I have to go to therapy to break down my eye muscles, then rebuild them. It takes time. I can finally say, the eye strain part is gone now that I have taken my glasses off. (Who would have thought?) The blurriness is still here, but that is because I need the therapy. I am currently on a waiting list and will be going through with it soon. So needless to say, don't go to Peter Wilcox with your eye issues. Honestly, you're probably not going to get anywhere with it, especially if it is a case of CVS (computer vision syndrome) like me. I'm sure he is good at what he does, but not at what he isn't actually familiar with. I am not a fan of a doctor who sends out false claims.

I had an amazing experience at this lens crafters!! They selection was AMAZING and the people in there are incredible! David immediately let me know that he was there if I needed help and helped with picking which glasses were best. Aziz went above and beyond to make sure I got the most coverage with my insurance! I definitely recommend them. I am so grateful and glad to have gone to this place for my glasses! I highly recommend!

Aziz Omar provides a great service for me! Helping me to test my lens degree and exchange my nose pad in a really fast speed. I definitely RECOMMEND to all my friends!!!

Big two thumbs up to this Lenscrafter’s location lens wizards Bryan & Jill! The hinges & screws on my Smith glasses were on their last threads - never good thing when you’re 1/2-way across the continent from home. They worked on my frame & had it good as new after 10 minutes and some wizardly work. All complimentary. I will definitely come back & recommend their shop.

The staff were all very friendly. They took the time to make sure all the equipment was sanitized before I used it. Dr. Shay was very thorough and explained each step that she was doing, and checked my old prescription glasses. She took the time to get to know me and was very patient informing me of how the progressive glasses worked and which one was best for reading or driving.

I have been a patient with the VA Eyecare Center for many years. They have always given me excellent care thorough exams and positive alternatives to my eye issues. When I needed cataract surgery years ago Dr. Tim referred me to an excellent cataract surgeon. Today I arrived to see a newly restored office with brand new technology! The front desk staff were so efficient and friendly. The technician was very proficient in using all the new equipment. Dr. Cranmar was excellent as she shared all the choices of treatment for my dry eyes and reviewed the findings of my tests done. I appreciated all the information she handed to me to use at home to improve my eye condition. Dr. Cranmar was so friendly and was able to answer my questions. I consider this to be the best Eyecare Office in Northern VA.

The staff here is great, from the front desk to the technicians/assistants, they're all friendly and helpful. I saw Dr. Cranmer, who is outstanding. She takes the time to answer questions and discuss options. I highly recommend this office!

Ed is wonderful! He is knowledgeable, friendly, and has the best selection of frames. His work is impeccable! My husband and I have been going to his store since moving to Gloucester 7 years ago and will continue to do so.

Overpriced, will not take insurance, promises what they cannot deliver. I would never recommend this business. If I could rate it a "zero" I would, especially after being charged $600 "cash" for lens only work that was ill fitting with no attempt to adjust for proper fitting.

Mr. Green did a beautiful job of restoring my broken frameless glasses while visiting from out of town. He has a great selection of frames too. Green's is definitely my new go to place for glasses in the Gloucester area. Thank you!

Quick and easy! Dr. Clark was pleasant and had us in and out of our exams in 15 minutes with a perfect prescription. Dee was personable and professional, and assisted me equally as quickly with honest opinions, full breakdowns of our benefits and transparent pricing. Can't wait to pick up our glasses once they're ready!!! Highly recommend!
