The facility was clean, very air conditioned. The employees were very courteous. I walked in with 3 rambunctious children and was accepted gracefully. Toni Tapia was so patient and attentive with my the my 6 yr old and very graciously offered me a low income coupon when I told her my insurance had lapsed and I couldn’t afford much. I was able to get a pair of glasses for my boy right in time for school. I always thought a big chain eye wear store was just in it for the money but they really proved me wrong today.

I went to get the rubber nose pieces for my glasses replaced today and Tanya was awesome. She replaced them for me quickly and was very nice. Good customer service.

Have gone to the Eyecare Center of Wethersfield for my last two annual eye exams and highly recommend! The staff is friendly/knowledge and the technology is top of the line. They have a wide selection of glasses to choose from and they arrived quickly after my appointment.

Eyes of Texas
They are the worst. The 2 receptionist are mean and condascending to patients. Primarily the clients are older and these ladies have no patience. The tone, they use borders on neglect in my opinion. They speaks to patients in a form that strips them of their diginity. Shame on you Dr. Smith for having these types of employees working for you.

I recently started going to For Your Eyes Only and I couldn't be happier.
Jennifer and the Staff are very customer service oriented, friendly, knowledgeable and most of of all patient!
My artistic eyes are very picky and Jennifer has been so willing to help do whatever to help me and always takes the time to be sure I am satisfied
I highly recommend For Your Eyes Only! You won't be disappointed!

It was my first time there and I was skeptical because of the reviews but since it is actually around the corner from me I thought I tried them and I’m happy I went. Very sweet ladies in the front. Dr. Hutto was great. He explained many things and I appreciated that. I was happy with their services and ended up making an appointment for the next day for my husband. I even ordered my glasses there. This will definitely be where I’ll get my eyes checked every year. Thank you all.

Everyone from the nice, young woman at the front desk, to the optometrists were extremely friendly and nice to my wife and I. My eyes were thoroughly checked with the best equipment. My questions were answered and we were treated so very kind. I appreciated their professionalism and consideration. Yes, I would definitely recommend EyeCare Consultants to anyone needing their services.

I have a great relationship with Wilmer Eye Care through the GSS office. I have received excellent service and highly professional care from Dr. L. DiMeglia.
I recently have had an issue that required a more immediate appointment. I scheduled with Dr. J.Baer. Do not see this doctor, especially children or females. I spent a good bit of time with a lovely tech who entered information and took a screening. I asked for the door to stay open to the room as I become too warm in most offices.
Dr. Baer introduced himself and read the report of the tech, clarifying more specifics about the light flashes in my eyes.
The next part of the exam is one of the creepiest experiences I have ever had in an eye exam. Dr. Baer sat in front of me of me while I was in the usual chair. He leaned in (he’s a tall large person) and motioned with his hand for me to come towards him, stating loudly, “Move your butt.” I thought I misheard him so I waited for him to state something else, but no, he kept saying louder and louder, “Move your buttocks, move your butt.”
I actually froze as I’ve never been spoken to in such a manner that was so creepy. He then said something about getting my back straight, instead of saying something about putting my eyes up to the machine. Then just as awful, if not worse, he asked me to put my hands on a certain part of the small table like area in front of me.”Put your hands here and here.” Then he put his two times the size of my hands over top of my hands and gazed at me with a strange smile while he held my hands to the table. CREEPY squared!!
Literally I couldn’t speak. Then he stood up from the table and came towards me with his whole hand nearest me to touch me on the right shoulder, from which I recoiled. He returned to his seat and put in the eye drops and quickly looked through his lens at my eyes.
He then sat back at the computer area, and told me that the light manifestation was likely from ocular migraines. He said to contact the office if something worse occurred.
As soon as I could move away from the machine I bolted for the door. Fortunately I moved before he had a chance to touch me inappropriately again. He had already positioned himself by the chair where I sat, stating, “Oh I was just about to help you up.”
I called Patient Relations, who laughed at me. They minimized my concern for children, and females. I attempted to reach Dr. DeMiglea multiple times and she attempted to reach me. Since I was unable to report to her, I decided to report to the public. BEWARE of traveling hands, controlling and inappropriate language, creepy factor. An eye appointment does not include a provider “getting a kick or hit out of touching a client.” Unprofessional and unethical behavior needs to be stopped before it worsens. Step up and do something Hopkins!
