I mentioned to Dr. Abraham that I had difficulty wearing my contacts for more than a few hours, and asked if there were any alternatives. He said that the brand I had were as good as there is. I later went to a different clinic and mentioned the same issue, and they gave me a different brand of contacts specifically for dry eyes, and I have been able to wear these all day. I do not know if Washington Eye Doctors has a deal with Acuvue or there is some other reason they neglected to fully inform me of the options available. But I will not be coming back here.

Had a great experience as a first time client with Washington Eye Doctors. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The doctor I seen was well knowledgeable and receptive to my options and best advisory for the future.

Dr. Abraham is very personable, thorough and attentive. The screening staff are courteous and efficient and the Optician listened to my concerns about problems I had with a pair of frames and provided a solution to the problem. Finally, the office staff are welcoming and extremely courteous. The entire office is very customer focused. THANK YOU!

I have never left a review for any service in my life, but I had such an overall poor experience with this place that I felt the need to share. The actual appointment took very long and was quite chaotic as the same doctor would bounce around from room to room. Doors were all open and you could hear all of the doctor/patient conversations. At the end of an excessively long appointment, I GOT THE WRONG PRESCRIPTION for my right eye and could hardly see with the contact in. Furthermore, there are unclear charges they add on for what should be a routine eye exam. Ended up paying way more out of pocket than necessary. The doctor is nice enough, but I would strongly recommend NOT going here for a routine eye exam or contacts.

I saw Dr. Butrus for an eye surgery and multiple follow ups. The experience was easy and he and his staff were fantastic. The office staff is friendly and efficient, I never waited more than a few minutes to be seen. Dr. Butrus is very well educated, informative and kind. The experience was great I highly recommend him and his office

Dr. Luthra did my cataract surgery. I'm delighted to say that I have 20/20 vision in the operated eye one day after surgery. Besides the outstanding outcome, I felt well cared for by Dr. Luthra from the moment I entered the surgical center. He was in command of my case from start to finish and always focused on a good outcome and my comfort during the procedure. I highly recommend him.

I received excellent care from Dr.Luthra and highly suggest seeking his expertise when considering a LASIK procedure in DC. Dr.Luthra’s education and experience made me feel confident that I made the right choice and he kept me well informed throughout the process. His office staff are all very friendly and communicative. Overall, I have had an excellent experience with the entire office and will 100% recommend Dr.Luthra to any friends or family seeking eye care.

Dr. Luthra is an exceptional doctor. He is kind and personable and he is good at what he does. I highly recommend him. The office staff are helpful and personable too.

The VA don’t deserve the one star given. Someone really need to look into this. My husband has been trying to make an appointment over the phone for week and the phone is never answered. Our veterans deserve more respect than this.

What is the secret of getting someone to answer the phone in the Wash DC Eye Clinic? I have called half a dozen times. I'll try smoke signals next. Incompetence!
