Horrible parking! There is only enough parking for employees. You have to park across the street at Dave's and try to cross over. They don't even have a cross walk connecting the parking lots, which makes it a long walk for pregnant women, new mother's with carseats and such as well as mother's with multiple children to get from parking to the women's center. I suggest leaving an extra 30 just for parking and such. Out of all of the UH properties I've been to the seating at this one is the worst! There isn't enough and not to mention it's extremely uncomfortable. They should have used the chairs from the other locations, to be pregnant or just shortly after labor and to wait here is torture, just go to another location. Other than that people seem pleasent and i always receive great fast service at the pharmacy and eye clinic. They don't tell you that unless you have a child you can't get eye care at this location as well as only pregnant women can receive dental care here.

I love this place. Not only is it run by family, but their service is off the charts. Been going here since 2017 and will continue to do so. They have my favorite brand which is Versace and have reasonable prices which they can help you set up a payment plan too. Jolie and Rosa are my absolute favorite people in the world. Humble, sweet, and patient. :)

Update. Went to a different eye glasses place and got new lenses put in my reading glasses and the warped phone is now not warped. Will never go here again.
Update. Went back down to a one-star. Reason-- after I went back, the Dr did another eye test to see if my scripts were right and told me I had a little cataract in my left eye. Never told me on my first visit. She also said on my first visit that the glasses would fix the rainbow streak effect that I was seeing out of my left eye and told me on the second visit that she didn't say that. She said it would help. Also, when looking at my phone with my reading glasses, the phone looks warped, and it would go away the more I used them. Well, it hasn't gone away. Unfortunately, I have Mass Health glasses, and I don't think they were made right. I am also have to squint to see with my distance glasses. So, I am calling Mass Health to get a second opinion appointment somewhere else.
Update. Just got a phone call from Pearle Vision. To look at my glasses and fix them if there's a problem. Thank you for calling me. I've updated my stars to a 4. If they fix the problem, I'll update it to 5 stars.
My phone looks warped when I use my reading glasses. And like other places, I've gotten glasses in the past they gave me something to clean the lenses with. If I had known I wasn't getting next-day glasses, I would have gone to lenses crafters. But someone told me you did the next day. I was told after my eye exam that you didn't do next day. Plus, I didn't like the eye exam. It was too quick, and some stuff was not done like at my other exams. I felt like it was a rushed exam. When I looked at the reviews, they were positive. But now I see a whole lot of negative ones. Wish they were there when I looked the first time. I would not have gone to this location. Update I was told I have a stigmatism, I was told these glasses would fix it, but they didn't. I still see the rainbow streaks when wearing my long-distance glasses.

This is the best Eyeglass World I’ve ever been to. All of the staff is friendly and go the extra mile for their customers. During my eye exam, the doctor was very informative. My glasses were estimated for pick up on 6/9 but they were ready … More

YIKES!! I wish I had read these reviews before going! While the receptionist and manager were very kind, the optometrist was so very mean and rude to both myself & my 6 year old daughter.
We arrive on time and waited 30 minutes to be seen. When we were finally called on we were seen into a room where the optometrist and Manager were standing there gossiping and complaining about a previous guest. When the optometrist finally came into the room she didn’t introduce herself or say sorry for the wait or anything. the first thing she went with was “did I say the name right?” …yes… “I was screaming your name, you didn’t hear me?” ….I did hear you… she starts tutting. So weird. “Oh usually when I call a name the person typically responds.” I didn’t know what to say. What a strange introduction to someone you’re trying to get business from.
She then proceeds to treat my daughter like she doesn’t understand basic things and with every question my daughter asks she doesn’t give an honest reply or explanation. Pretty much with the attitude that she’s just a dumb kid. It hurt me a little.
She then told me (before any exam) that she believed my daughter was “over exaggerating” her vision problems. She tries to get my daughter to agree to the idea that she just “wanted glasses to be cool”. My daughter was like “uhhhh…yeah sure.” Man, this lady is horrible and shouldn’t be around kids at the very least. My daughter did end up having astigmatism after all that and “doctor” gave her a prescription.
We were made to feel inferior and unwelcome.
Please don’t take your children here. :(

Awful. Scheduling is awful. She’s busy I get it, then hire someone else to help, or extend hours?
I’ve waited an hour for a scheduled appointment. Honestly I 100% regret not going to Lens Crafters.
UPDATE***
I returned twice since about 3 years. Personally they have improved a lot. The new optometrists are great, communication is great with them. Receptionists are great as well.
I will definitely be returning for my contacts.
I will advise if you have not experienced the same service, I would recommend Lens Crafters, however you probably will not be saving as much as you do when going to Costco. Obviously. Give Costco another try, third times the charm.

Dr. Clint Gonzales has been our eye doctor since 2007, and we couldn't be more pleased! Not only is he highly competent to treat our more complicated vision needs, but he is also friendly and personable. His staff is also a delight to work with - efficient and helpful. Highly recommend Dr. Clint Gonzales!

I’ve been a regular at this location for 7+ years for my annual eye exams, but I’ll be finding a new place after my recent experience. I was told by a doc I’ve never worked with before that my prescription changed even though I felt my vision with my current glasses was still sharp. I reluctantly bought a new pair of glasses with a credit card (I’m a broke college student). Tried the new glasses and they make me feel motion sick/disoriented, so I went in for a recheck and was told “maybe you need to adjust to the new ones” — nope, so I booked a recheck at a different location where my concerns were validate & my suspicions confirmed — my old prescription is the correct prescription. So I paid a few hundred dollars for nothing. I did not need a new pair of glasses, and I do not have the money to be throwing at unnecessary expenses. Huge bummer for me, especially after many years of being a regular customer.

Dr. Tamika Williams was very personable and knowledgeable. I appreciated the time she took to show me the pics of my eyes, and explain everything to me in a way I could understand. Bill was also very helpful in picking out glasses, and answering my questions. Highly recommend!
