Very bad customer service, I do not in any way recommend EyeC Optometry. I went in for an eye exam and took the doctor’s recommendations and ordered contacts. Later that day I realized that the lens for my right eye really wasn’t doing anything to improve the vision. So first thing the next morning — less than 24 hours after ordering— I called to cancel that part of the order and was told that their office policy is that they don’t allow cancellations, period. Less than 24 hours after placing the order, an order that was not customized in any way, just a standard off-the-shelf contact prescription. I offered to pay any cancellation fee, still they said they can’t. Interestingly, they were able to cancel the order with the manufacturer but then had to keep the money as a credit on my account instead of refunding it. So, clearly, cancelling the order wasn’t the real problem, they just didn’t want to let go of my money. The other reason for the low review is that the staff are not well trained. The woman who did the first part of my exam was visibly nervous, struggled with some of the equipment, and completely fumbled one of the tests such that the Dr. Had to redo it to get an accurate reading. Then the person in charge of doing the ordering quoted me one price for the contacts, then was surprised to find out that multi-focal lenses cost more!

The service here was outstanding. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, guiding me through a thorough examination with patience and expertise. The optometrist was attentive, explaining each step and offering valuable insights. The office's modern equipment and comfortable environment made the visit efficient and pleasant.

For over 10 years, my family has entrusted our vision care to Dr. Kas and his staff. They truly exemplify great patient care and patience. Each visit is more than just an appointment; it’s an educational experience where all my questions are met with thoughtful and detailed answers. My kids always look forward to their annual check up. It’s this level of care and attention that has kept me seeing Dr. Kas year after year. I am grateful for the exceptional care I’ve received and highly recommend his services to anyone seeking a knowledgeable and caring optometrist.

The staff is very helpful, thoroughly explaining your options without pushing you towards any particular deal or selection. One of the better Vision Specialist groups.

Great medical office, wonderful and warm experience from start to finish.I especially loved how Dr. Barez really took her time to explain my conditions with me as well as my treatment options. Knowledgeable, sensitive, informative. I immediately felt at ease – and felt confident in my receiving expert medical care. Also, the staff is very friendly and professional. I’ve never had to wait more than a few minutes when I arrive on time for an appointment. Highly recommend!

I did not have the best of experience. The first time I went, the doctor did spend a good amount of time to complete testing. However, I waited 2 hours before I could even see him. Ultimately, my eye pain improved with the help. However, the second time I visited, I waited another 1.5 hours to see him, and he clearly stated to me that he will not answer some of my questions. I barely spent 5 minutes in the room, after taking half a day off work, and hundreds of dollars on treatment, and being told that he will not answer my questions. I asked if he could call me later with an answer, and he stated he will not. Whom should I ask questions about my eye then? These were common questions - when it comes to the health of the eye, any layperson might be nervous and want to understand. I felt completely rushed and dismissed by the doctor at the end. I don't think any patient should be made felt to be a burden if they have a couple of questions. Esp in a 5 minute appt that comes after 2 hour wait. If doctor is unwilling to answer questions, then patients should not be charged $50 copay for a visit that was completely unproductive and dismissive - it's not respectful of the patient's time and money. Ultimately, these experiences left me feeling very upset and disrespected as a patient.

I had such a great experience at Buena Vista Eye care today. These guys were super organized, and so friendly. After filling out a small form, I got to sit in the waiting room and listen to a super fun up beat play list that was playing all throughout the office area. I waiting for literally 2 minutes and then got called back to go through my exams. The person that did my exams was great, friendly, and told me exactly what to do. Even had to troubleshoot me because I couldn’t line up my eye with the machine right (totally on me). The doctor that finished my exam had a vibrant, down to earth, friendly, California personality. He was super smart, informative and funny. We had a great conversation and he explained everything going on with my eyes. The staff member that helped me with my glasses was equally great. She was helpful, told me which glasses would be good for me, had me try on a couple frames and helped me choose the ones that resonated with me. Thank all of you for a great experience. I’ve been stressed about this since moving here from far away. I’m glad I found my eye place.

I was hesitant based on reviews. I happy to say that my son had a good experience. He’s 15 yrs old. I’m also picky about service and office environment. We had great customer service (front desk) and optometrist tech very helpful with my son picking out frames. Doctor was great and he patiently explained what was going with his eyes. All in all very thorough visit.

First of all, there are so many fake 5 star reviews here that contradict the truth about Lupe and the organization of the front office..The front office files are not accurate and admins give one the run around. Why? Who knows? I saw Dr. Mitchell last year, he was great. However my experience with Lupe was horrible. I watched her work with clients while I waited, including dealing with another client that left very upset with her. Lupe was absolutely no help, was rude, and was of no assistance. I selected my own frames. She was quick to take my $300+ for reading glasses, and stamped my receipt “final sale” before reviewing the policy with me. Lupe is unprofessional and mediocre at best, exactly what she reflects..vieja, fea y repugnante.. Since my last experience with Dr. Mitchell was fine, I called this evening to schedule an appointment. I knew I’d receive a new prescription and would take it elsewhere. Only I was told that I was not in their system, then I was told that I had scheduled, and not attended my appointment. Their system showed me as “refunded” or something rather, I do not remember. Then I confirmed that I in-fact had purchased frames after my appointment and that I had misplaced them. The receptionist placed me on hold. While holding I made a decision to not reschedule. When the receptionist returned to the phone, I asked her to please leave my prescription with the front office and that I would be in to pick it up the following day. She agreed to email it to me which is fine but when I asked for the same request initially after losing my glasses weeks before, I was told that it was against policy to email. I was informed that I would have to pick up the prescription in person. Do not waste your time here. The front receptionists are dishonest and unorganized. .. Dr. Mitchell, please reconsider your staff if you value your patients and our community. We are happy to have you, but please and again, reconsider your current staff..
