I have been very happy with both the medical treatment I have received from Eye Physicians of the East Bay, and with their professionalism and kindness. I use a mobility scooter, and I have found some physician's offices challenging both in terms of physical accommodation and in personal dignity. The staff and docs here have been great on both counts. There was a confusion about my insurance at one point, but I was patient and they were patient, and we figured it out. Dr. Pascal was described to me by my optometrist as a marvelous surgeon, and that is certainly the truth. He and his staff are terrific.

Everyone was nice and I didn’t have to wait long for anything. the office is a little disorganized but the care was good. The doctor was nice and seemed to really care about my concerns.

This place is fantastic! The customer service and kindness that they showed to my son who was getting contacts for the first time was amazing! Cindy at the front desk was very helpful and the Dr. that fitted him with contacts had a great personality and a down to earth style that my teenager found easy to connect with.

I had a really pleasant experience after being referred here by my PCP for eye pain. The staff and the doctor were all kind and helpful. I had a little bit of a wait, about 45 mins to see the doctor however for the amount of patients in there, they were moving pretty quickly.

Been trying to call the office for a week now. They say they have a new phone system they're trying to figure out on the message. Wait up to an hour at a time will I move up in queue and then it drops me off when I'm hit number one. 4 hours total spent this week trying to get through with no results. Makes you wonder about what kind of practice or medical care they offer. My confidence is shaking at this ineptness.

Doctor is fine. Tried several times, seems like they never pick up phone calls. I wait for 20mins and finally moved from number 4 to number 1 then got switched to number 4. Regardless how early I call, no one picks up the phone.

I was so very pleasantly surprised with the location and the parking availability. But most of all I was greeted with very helpful, pleasant respectful employees. Each one of them did their job with ease, and explained everything that I needed to get done. The doctor treats you, as if he’s known you forever with such respect and ease, he explained every procedure that was going to be done and what was the purpose for it. So needless to say that you are told more than once what procedure they were going to do and what was the purpose for it, which is great because sometimes I don’t get it the first time, and I hate to always ask can you repeat that so it was just perfect. I loved my visit at Fruitvale Optometry and I would recommend it to everyone I know thank you so much Fruitvale Optometry!

All the staff are very friendly and provide great customer service. Quality of care is great as well. Very happy to have you all as a resource in the neighborhood.

I felt the staff was welcoming and professional. The day of my appointment I was running late, because I showed up at the wrong clinic of all things. I was told to still come in and my appointment would be honored. All my eye exams were done, completed and Dr.Nancy Luu, OD took the time to explain everything and answer any questions I had during my exam with her. Overall, a pretty good visit for me.

Excellent customer Service!! I was assigned to a Young Lady By the name of ‘Kenisha Hughes’ and the experience with her along with the other staff was just phenomenal!! Kenisha helped me save a ton of money by signing up for the VSP eye care insurance in which had became effective within seconds!! I just had to generously tip her for simply doing so (may have not been that big of a deal for her, though for me it meant EVERYTHING)… Thank You So Much Ms. Kenisha Hughes!! And because of her I’d definitely refer a few to the establishment no doubt about it😇 ~EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE~
