Beware this doctor may have hypochondria, an extreme phobia of getting sick. We walked out of this clinic after my masked daughter was already on te chair waiting to be seen. My three children and I were the only people in the practice wearing a mask. I had to take my other two children with me since they are all on their winter break. As soon as the assistant heard my son sneeze while wearing his mask, she froze in fear (her without a mask) and asked if he had a cold. She asked me so many questions about their possible risk of contagious ke symptoms and said she had to ask Dr. Waters if she could still see us. Again, we were the only family wearing a mask. No staff member was wearing a mask and a sign to wear a mask for protection was up in the reception area. Any child could get someone sick as they could be asymptomatic and not wearing a mask. I find it the doctor’s paranoia ridiculous yet she doesn’t enforce masks. If you have children, please stay away unless you only take the one with Medicaid to be seen (which is the one Dr. Waters is truly after.)

Dr Tracy Tate is one of the best doctors. She gives sufficient time and information to each patient. I had my 8 year old also start her check up here and very satisfied. When i had discomfort in my progressives, she made appropriate changes and didnt charge as it was tested recently, I really appreciate that gesture and support. The entire staff is very respectful and nice.

Worth F…K Schrier Optometric. I can't wait to close Friday or Sunday I waited a long 2 weeks fixing it. Another Kew Garden Optical best fast-ready fixing 30 mins. I am happy.

Dr. McGowin is the best. She’s always willing to see me. I’ve had at least two unusual incidents with my eyes and she fixed me right up.

I received a warm and friendly welcome by the front office staff and the doctor. Very thorough appointment. Listened to all my concerns and made helpful suggestions. Talk to me like I was a human being not just a statistic. I would highly recommend this office to all my friends.

I have been a patient for years, when I first became a patient Dr. Marino was my doctor and he got my prescription correct the first time :) He has since moved on to better things with Triangle Vision and respectfully earned! I haven't been pleased with the service since he left the location. I just renewed my prescription, which was fine. I also bought a pair of glasses in addition to contact lenses and sunglasses. The eyeglasses were the poorest quality lenses and I can't even see out of them far away. I would of bought better had I been informed about what I was signing up for. The customer service from the front desk and the person selling the glasses is less than what I received years ago. If I could post a picture of my glasses people would laugh. They look like coke bottles that were not shaved to fit the frame. My vision isn't bad it's 1.25 + in one eye and 2.25+ in the other. Not to mention you can't get a return call from anyone. Nope I will take my insurance somewhere else. I do need a copy of my latest glass prescription.

Pre-Surgery - For over 20 years I have occasionally visited laser eye clinics to get consultations and never once pulled the trigger, until I found Excel Laser Vision Institute. Call it a gut feeling but it definitely helped that nothing was pushed, the staff were friendly and very accommodating, and all the doctors just made me feel relaxed and cared for. My gut told me I found the right place. Made an appointment and waited for the day. Surgery Day - Same sentiments as before. The surgery was painless and Dr. Moosa spoke calmly to me the whole time and told me what to expect so no matter what happened I knew it was going according to plan. In fact, for some reason, it felt ticklish and I tried not to laugh. Kudos to all the staff for making me feel welcome and really going that extra step to make me feel calm. Post-Surgery - Life altering. You take your vision for granted until you do something like this and it is just amazing what clear natural vision is like. Granted, I'm still healing but the fact that I'm able to see clearly the second I got up from the table, I was amazed. Final Thoughts - I highly recommend Excel Laser Vision Institute. They do great work here.

The staff was able to squeeze me in last minute for eye pain and headaches that have gotten progressively worst. Dr. Francis had great bedside manner and found that my prescription had been too strong for my visual needs. Happy to have found a doctor that's relieved me of my headaches. Tammy was wonderful as well.

This store was excellent! The employees were very knowledgeable and kind, I didn’t have to wait at all. I walked in, went right in for my exam, and then I was instantly helped with frame selection. The optometrist is the best! I work in surgery as an RN, and I’m telling you, she was extremely bright, thorough, knowledgeable, and helpful. I will recommend this store to everyone. The frame selection was really good too!! Seriously, if you need an eye exam, or are just in the market for new glasses/contacts, this is the place to go. Warby Parker on 4th St., Berkeley :) By the way, the prices were really good, and they expedited my glasses shipment on them, I didn’t have to pay extra for that.

I've come for two years now, and Ive always had a great experience! Dr. Pham is extremely knowledgeable and shared a lot of useful information that I've never received from other optometrist about my eyes. She's super nice, and makes the exam process seamless and easy!
