Doctor and staff are amazing! Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable in each role throughout the entire facility. I have always gone to optometrists elsewhere (mainly Central Valley, CA) and none have ever addressed my dry eye problems. I cannot recommend the doctor enough!!

A lovely experience. The staff and optometrist were quite friendly and readily answered the plethora of questions I had about the tests and general questions about eyes. Would definitely recommend to a friend. I'm glad I was able to find this optometry office. Will definitely keep them on the books for my next annual exam! Scheduling: Very easy. They have an online scheduler which I utilized. I received email confirmation shortly after. Communication: There was some confusion about my application. In order to clarify and lessen my paperwork on site, they gave me a call. Communication was very friendly and clear. We were able to get everything settled. One note, I was a bit confused as when I arrived for my appointment I was looking for an Iris Bright Optometry, but it is located within LensCrafters. I think they may have mentioned it on the email confirmation, but it slipped my mind...Overall, it was a quick, painless and good appointment.

Nick has been so kind and above professional for two years (last 3 visit for Amani,one for Nodia and one for me. He is the reason we return. He makes my daughters so relaxed and always goes above and beyond helping with new insurances. He even special ordered my some lens when they didn’t carry them.

A little over 3 years ago I went to Lakeside Vision Center referred by Hoag emergency at the time. Turned out to be fairly routine but did interfere somewhat with my vision. I ordered contacts and glasses from the OD Dr. Wu. He did a terrible job of fitting contacts to the point I stopped wearing them. I told him they were not strong enough and he told me that he didn’t like them all that strong. He’s not me. I also got regular glasses that I paid about $500. They were OK…not great but I attributed that to the slight loss of vision. Then a week ago I went to the DMV to get my license renewed. I couldn’t see the chart. They told me to go to my OD which I finally went back to Dr. Wald . She did an exam and come to find out my prescription that Dr. Wu made for me is off…..a lot off. It’s not strong enough. Dr. Wu was incompetent. He let me go around with a prescription so weak that I couldn’t pass a driving test. I would really like to have my money back for those useless glasses. When I go back to the DMV I will be informing them as to why I couldn’t pass the vision test and who fitted me with the glasses. Gail Ream 325 Mayflower Drive

I had an eye exam appointment at OC Eye Associates and my experience went far beyond my expectations! Every staff member went out of their way to help me find a frame that I’d feel confident in and were all super friendly! The eye doctor was very patient and kind with me and made the eye exam very easy. I recommend this location to anyone looking for a new Ophthalmology clinic for care! 5/5

I have had severe dry eyes for the last 10 years and recurring eye infections. I have seen optometrists and retina specialists for other eye related issues. After seeing Dr. Lee, she put me on a regiment that would help my eye infection and was very clear and helpful with explaining how it would all work. For my dry eyes, she was able to share with me the plan that she thinks would be best given my eye medical history. She also suggested punctal plugs for the top of my lid when no other doctor had suggested that before. Dr. Lee is extremely thorough, knowledgeable and thoughtful and I appreciated the care that she had for my eyes for the long term, not just the short term of clearing up the eye infection. During my follow up visits I could tell she had thought about my case to continue the best of care. My out of town in-laws were visiting years ago and my father in law had a concerning situation. OC Eye Associates were able to see him, treat the problem and follow up after he returned back to the east coast. We have always referred to OC Eye Associates for a long time now and will continue to do so. I have recently chosen to get new glasses from there as well and suggested to my mom to make an appointment. I also love the ease of working with the front office staff. Thank you Dr. Lee and OC Eye Associates for your care in bringing relief to my eyes!

I recently had my annual eye exams with Dr. Hoang and Dr. Kline at there new location. The Doctors were both very professional and thorough in their examinations. I then met with Skye who assisted me with my contact lenses requests and eye glass prescriptions. As always, Skye was extremely pleasant and provided and amazing level of customer service. My wife and I have been going to OC Eye Associates since moving to California. I must say that Skye has helped us out on numerous occasions. Thank you, Skye!

I recently had cataract surgery performed by Dr. Chao . He was excellent throughout my treatment - he is clear about what to expect , answers all questions and takes the time needed with each patient . His office staff is wonderful too . Office is clean and well - run . I will not hesitate to return when the other eye needs done .

Dr. Chao and his Team delivered world class service and changed my life. The Doctor Is extremely talented, personable, down to earth and ACCESSIBLE. Still healing from PRK but the procedure went off without a hitch and my vision is improving daily. I sought personalized service and went with a Professional that would get it done RFT (right first time). Im so glad I was referred to Dr. Chao and his staff, I can’t thank them enough.

My brother and I had the LASIK procedure at a different office about 20 years ago when we were teenagers. Our procedures went well. We both were ecstatic to have 20/20 vision and finally be able to ditch our glasses and contacts. Unfortunately, our prescriptions slowly degraded over the next few years. Yep, it was back to contacts and glasses for us. I wished the doctor would have advised us to wait until our prescriptions were stable before getting the procedure. Looking back, it felt very transactional and very well fits the description of a laser mill. About 6 years ago my brother decided to schedule a few consultations to see what could be done about his eyes. Many of the offices did not have the experience in dealing with patients who previously have had LASIK. Eventually, he found Chao Vision Institute. Dr. Chao is a subspecialist with years of decades of experience. He was finally in great hands. He had the PRK surgery and his overall experience was positive. I have recently decided to visit Chao Vision Institute for myself and had my PRK procedure last month. My overall experience was extremely positive. Dr. Chao and Terry were very thorough in explaining the process of the procedure to me. They were both very caring and had excellent bedside manners. My procedure was on a Friday and I took the following Monday off for the recovery period per Chao’s recommendation. The procedure was quick and painless. Dr. Chao kindly provided his mobile number just in case there were any complications or emergency post-surgery. During the 4 day recovery period, I’ve experienced blurred vision, light sensitivity, and a bit of discomfort. The chilled comfort drops, lidocaine gel, and chilled artificial tears worked perfectly to soothe any discomfort. It’s important to follow all of Dr. Chao’s post-surgical regimens. According to Dr. Chao, my healing process was especially fast. As expected with PRK, there were some minor vision fluctuations during the first couple of few weeks. I’m currently in my 5th week and my vision is now excellent and no more fluctuations. I would highly recommend Dr. Chao to anyone who needs help restoring great vision from their degraded LASIK procedures.
