I’ve been wearing corrective lenses for over 30 years, so I’ve seen many optometrists during that time. I was so impressed with Dr Lui’s genuine kindness, his vast knowledge, his thoroughness in care, and his earnest concern to help me to understand the health and condition of my eyes. I particularly appreciate that he is direct, and that he doesn’t sugar-coat his feedback, so I feel confident in knowing that I am making the best and most informed decisions for my eyes. I was so impressed with his care that I’ve changed my husband’s and my son’s eye specialists to Dr Lui. His staff is also very professional, friendly, and patient - all of which are not easy to find in the medical field. Thank you, Dr Lui. You are truly a one-of-a-kind, gem!

I have been a patient of Dr. Lui for a number of years. From my first examination (approx. 2017) to the current one (07-2023), I continue to be impressed! Dr. Lui is a very caring, and thorough doctor. He has made many upgrades at his practice incorporating the newest technology and state of the art equipment to do the best and most advanced eye testing for his patients. After my initial testing Dr. Lui called me into his examination room. At that time he reviewed all tests and explained each result one by one. He showed me photos of the progression of my eyes over the years, and I am very pleased to say that I was very happy with the current result of the condition of my eyes. I have 100% total confidence in Dr. Lui and his staff! I recommend him with the highest regard. Thank you Dr. Lui for your continued care, and for the very incredible staff that supports you!!

Wonderful office with dedicated staff, easy going and thorough. Thoughtful consultation provided and I left having all my issues/questions addressed in a professional manner. I received LASIK almost 10 years ago but nearsightedness is returning slowly. Was not looking forward to returning to contacts and its morning/nighttime rituals and upkeep. Dr. Patel have me the wonderful alternative of intermittent glasses use as a practical alternative to contacts. Something I had not thought of because pre-LASIK contacts were all I used. She also let me know the reasons the alternative was better, which I appreciated very much. 10/10. Would recommend and plan to bring the rest of my family here.

Needed to be seen on an emergency basis & they were able to get me in no problem. Very grateful for the staff that helped me. Noah was very kind on the phone. The first nurse (I forgot her name) was very sweet and understood how grateful I was to be seen on this emergency basis. The doctor (Dr. M) then saw me and she was amazing. She was very nice and helped me out very quickly and efficiently. She found a solution to my problem after a few eye exams. I cannot express my gratitude enough to this staff. Thank you again.

New patient here and I had a wonderful experience at Woodbridge Optometry! First off, the office is in a great location with lots of parking spaces. The inside of the office is beautiful and clean; everything was sanitized. The best part is the natural lighting they had in office which helped when picking out frames. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Yang who was professional, nice, and patient-centered. She was thorough with my exam and explained everything. Maddy, the optician, was helpful and patient as I took the time to pick out new frames. She was personable and overall made my check out process easy. Definitely recommend this optometry office if you’re new to the area or looking for a new optometry clinic.

I would like to thank the optician who took her time to repair my glasses. Even I did not buy the frame there but she was happy to assist me and explain to me what she could do to repair my glasses. After about 15 minutes of waiting, she fixed my glasses! She even did not charge me a fee for repairing my glasses. Thank you! Yes, I will come back in the near future to get a new glasses at this office.

I've been coming here the last 6 years or so & had great experiences until last year. I was told my insurance would cover the entire cost, only to receive a charge a few months later & a call saying my insurance didn't cover it. When I called back they weren't kind or sympathetic in any way. They said the person who told me that no longer worked there. I understand insurance can be tricky sometimes, but the customer service was lacking. My husband goes to a much more modern optometry office at Woodbridge Optometry that I wanted to go to after this experience, but they don't carry the contact lenses I use. I came back today for my annual exam. My appt is at 12:40 & they call at 12:40 asking where I am. I'm running late, which is completely my fault, & let them know I'd be there in a few. I arrive at 12:46 & the front desk asks if they should still take me to which the others say yes. She then proceeds to tell me I'm late & they don't take patients after they're late for more than 10 minutes. I said it's 12:46 & I'm not ten minutes late. She acts like I am so I ask what time my appt was at & she says she doesn't remember but that I'm still really late. It was ridiculous attitude for being 6 minutes late & acting as though I broke their 10 minute policy. When she completed her intake & the peripheral exam it was 12:51. Dr. Tang is amazing herself, as well as Dr. Paul, but I just find the front desk woman's customer service quite poor with terrible & unwarranted attitude. I learned Dr. Tang sold her practice to VSP & it's unfortunate the new management is bringing the business down.

You'll love the staff at Irvine Optometry! They're very professional without losing that endearing neighborhood friendliness that seems to have gone missing in most of our culture. I've been seeing them for 4 years now! 🥰 …

Dr. Chia is excellent at his crafts. He has great bedside manner. His office runs very efficiently.
