"Dr. Kowalski literally saved my life", found a tumor in my eye that was malignant early on. Had he not caught it It would have advanced without my knowing till it was too late.

The best eye doctor in town!

Dr. Kammer is excellent! He made me and my daughter feel so comfortable. Not only did he do a great job with the exam, his attentiveness and literal entertainment the entire time was much appreciated. It was actually the funnest appointment I’ve ever been to in my life. He is very enthusiastic and definitely has a one of a kind personality! I will bring every person I know here, and he genuinely will appreciate it. He said “I would be honored to have you”. We appreciate the sincerity of Dr. Kammer. And the rest of the stuff was wonderful as well. Forever customer right here!

For now I have to give this place a low rating because I already had to wait an entire month for my appointment to be able to get the referral I need for cataract surgeries and now because they think they need to close early due to a little bit of ice on the road I'm probably going to have to wait another whole month for the appointment to be rescheduled I need surgeries to be able to go back to work and get my life back it is not okay for them to delay me being able to get my life back for them to go home early

I have been going to Dr. Tom for a few years now and every visit is a great experience. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. Dr. Tom listens to you and your concerns and does a great job explaining everything. Today, the team was particularly accommodating as something was screwed up with my appointment time with my calendar and all text reminders saying one thing and their system saying another. Needless to say, this led to me showing up “late” based on their scheduling system. But they were willing to work with me and after a short wait, I had my planned appointment. I highly recommend Decatur Eye Care if you are in need of a GREAT eye doctor!

Dr Pierce is one of the rare super passionate people that truly has found his calling in life. Loves his work and cares about his clients, he is exceptionally smart and takes time to educate his patients. I have recommended him and will forever, he is really that good!!

Dr. Carson was ok. His staff on the other hand was incredibly rude, unprofessional and childish. They do not know how to handle children. They heavyset woman cared more about what was on her phone than paying attention to the customer who stood patiently for 10 minutes. Which she and her Coworker found funny. Horrible people

I went in for a eye exam to get prescriptions for eye glasses and contact lenses here and had a very poor experience with the staff. 1) Super long wait times! They need to get better at scheduling their patients to avoid crowded waiting areas 2) The nurse rushed me in and completed the procedure very quickly. I’m telling her that I still think the right eye is a little blurry. Her response was well that’s the clearest I can get it. 3) Doctor was friendly though and did a decent assessment. 4) I got my glass prescription right away. But did not get my contact len prescription. I was told that they would email it the day later once the contact len specialist reviews my chart. 5) the next day I get a call to come back in for another appointment and pay over $200 to get my contact len prescription. I was blown away with this call and there is no way I’m going back there to waste 3 hours of my life. I have insurance and never had to pay to get a prescription. They never told me this when I checked in either. Very inefficient staff with poor communication skills. I will not be going back here, that’s for sure. Forgot to mention about parking - that was impossible to find for new patients. There are no signs to help guide you.

I love going to see Dr.Chan, everytime it's quick and friendly service. Myself and my 2 boys see her, she is GREAT with children and super friendly. I highly recommend using Dr.Chan!!
