The technical staff was friendly and professional. The receptionist WAS NOT. I walked in with a smile and said hello and she just looked at me as though I was bothering her. She never greeted me, never smiled and basically treated me like I wasn't good enough to breathe the same air with her. She WAS NOT friendly, professional or polite. I thought that was the prerequisite for being a receptionist. She's lucky I like Dr. Christensen otherwise I wouldn't go back. I don't like spending my hard earned money with businesses who's staff are unfriendly or impolite. Remember, we make it possible for you to take home a paycheck.

I would give thousands of stars if I could! I've been coming here since I was two years old, I am now 28 (I got grandfathered in by my mom) and boy, am I so thankful for that! Dr. Christensen is so unbelievably and amazingly professional, kind, competent and great with the kiddos! I don't have a single worry about my care when it's in his hands. All of my options are talked about throughly and all for an affordable price! I will continue to drive cities AND states to make my appointments here. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

This is the place to go for all your eye care needs if you don't have insurance! They always have great AND fashionable frames and the optometrist and his team are knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. They actually sit with you and measure the lenses to make sure it is a perfect fit! Really great service here for years. There is a reason I always come back. :)

Great vibes as soon as we walked in. Friendly, and not pushy to make a sale. Definitely would recommend. My wife was pleased with her 2 pairs of glasses that we got a wonderful deal on! It's not hard to SEE why you should choose this place over others.

I recently retired and relocated and am happy I found Solano Eye Care. The staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. Marisol set my first appointment and answered all my questions. She helped me forward the film from my former eye care provider in SoCal. I felt welcomed from the start.
Dr. Mackenzie was wonderful. Competent, caring, and amazingly efficient. I left my first appointment confident I was receiving the best of care for now and in the future.
While the office is well equipped with all the modern scanning technology, what impressed me more was the focus on good old fashioned customer service.

The staff is very professional and you have a variety of frames to choose from and that's important to me. They have top of line equipment. They are very patience with their clients.

Dr. Sandler worked me into his very busy schedule on the same day when I had an eye injury. He took the time to evaluate and treat me with his usual friendly and compassionate care despite a full load of patients to see. It is always a very pleasant experience when visiting this office and interacting with him and the staff.

First time visiting the Vacaville clinic. Ver professional staff and easy to park, very comfortable environment , & would gladly suggest family & friends to do business here. And I’m a patient of Dr. Sandler. So. This is as an added pleasure.

I got my prescription and a pair of glasses from Costco about a year ago. My glasses broke and they discontinued the frame so I’ve been searching everywhere for a new frame i like. Found a frame i liked at Solano Eye Specialist. The price on the frames nearly doubled at check out (paid almost $400) but i was like “okay whatever i need glasses I’m tired of wearing contacts all the time.” Yesterday I got a call that my glasses were ready. So I went to Fairfield to get them (Granted I don’t live in Fairfield and I have a baby who hates car rides). I tried them on before I left but since I had contacts in, I figured that’s why I couldn’t see. So I took them home. When I got home, and turned on my phone camera to see how they look on me, I was shocked to see that it look like I was wearing two magnifying glasses on my face. I called the Fairfield office and spoke to a man who tried to tell me it was because I had such a strong prescription. I told him I have a broken pair from Costco with the exact same prescription that do not look like magnifying glasses. So he said to bring them both in the next day because they were closing. After we got off the phone I took out my contacts and tried on the glasses just to find out that they were 100% blurry. Completely wrong prescription. Today I took them to the Vacaville office because it’s closer to me and I showed the woman the glasses, my old broken glasses, and my prescription slip in hand. She looked up my information in the computer and found out that my prescription was entered in completely wrong. So now I have to wait while they remake the lenses with my correct prescription. After i pick up this pair, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to Solano Eye Specialist.
