I had a catastrophic structural failure on my current set of glasses (managed to sleep on them) so I called Melchert in a blind panic this morning as they were the closest hit on Google Maps. After asking him for some emergency surgery, the office manager was friendly and told me to stop on by. Even though I didn't purchase the glasses from them, they fixed me up, cleaned them off, and sent me on my way for no charge with a free bottle of cleaner and an optical cloth. I'm overdue for my annual eye exam, so I've scheduled it with them instead of just going back to a big chain like I normally do. Refreshing customer service.

Friendly staff. They don’t separate themselves from patients with thick glass windows and large barriers. This makes the first impression and all further impression is much better. - Doug

Came in with my current prescription on the reccomendation of family member. Had an excellent experience in a comfortable and pleasant setting. The staff is very professional and provided excellent customer care. Very helpful with selecting frames and explaining lense options. I will definitely be coming back here from now on for my exams, glasses and contacts. I would highly recommend Alamo Optometry.

I had LASIK done here 15 years ago. It was great - I remember thinking how amazing it was to see so well without contacts. I just went to a new ophthalmologist where I live now and she told me my surgeon was impeccable - she would not have know I had the procedure had I not mentioned it. 20/15 vision 15 years later - no issues. Great work deserves kudos! These guys were GREAT

For a public business facility they keep their doors locked during business hours and only allow you in as they see fit. Upon scheduling an appointment, they never mentioned masks being required, did not have any to give out, refused me from coming in for our appointment and left me and my 5 year old sitting outside in the cold waiting for someone to speak with. After 5-10 mins we eventually left. I called back to the office to make a complaint and left a message after calling a few times with no answer, as it was such a waste of time, and my child now has no excuse for school. It's been a week and no one has addressed my call or even been willing to reschedule his appointment considering it was a REFERRAL TO A PEDIATRIC SPECIALIST!!!!! I'm extremely disgusted with this office. Don't bother going here and wasting your time.

Dr. Karen and Camille at this Target Optical was nice and very helpful. Me and my wife felt very welcomed. Camille at the front worked very hard to get us the best deals with our insurance. Thank you.

If you have a kid with ASD, you must see Katherine Laney OD. She was amazing with him. He wears a mask because he has lots of Covid anxiety and she immediately put a mask to make him more comfortable. She was patient with his questions and his sensory issues when he had trouble with his eyes being dilated. Love, love, love. She is amazing!!!! The facility is nice and all the staff were super sweet and helpful. Especially the lady in the area where you get glasses. She went above and beyond when he asked if she could look up the exact frames he had last. Thanks for making a difference.

My adjustment to hard sclera lenses was a rocky road to say the least…. Dr Chavez was patient, understanding, and extremely helpful in every stage of the process. His genuine concern for me and my success using these new lenses is an attribute difficult to find these days among practitioners. I’m grateful to have found such a great doctor!

Dr. Morgan and his staff are awesome. I am so grateful to them for getting me fitted for a Scleral contact lens and finding 2nd coverage with my vision insurance so it did not cost me a small fortune! For years I have been extremely frustrated due to prior Lasik surgery, retina issues and subsequent cataract surgery and not being able to see clearly. I thought I was going to be vision impaired forever until I came into their office and they helped me see clearly for the first time in a very long time! This was an excellent solution! The staff were so nice to brighten my day even more by giving me extra chocolates to bring home with my new contact lens. Sweet! :)

I was disappointed by the doctor’s attitude. I felt I was whipped off by the doctor when he told me to stop asking and let him speak. He repeated that saying for two times on different intervals. He thought I was asking while I was nodding and expressing my agreement with what he’s saying. I’m an old person, so it was really hard for me to let it slide. The doctor should have more tolerance and patience with his customers.
