Hands down the best optometrist ever. The entire office is wonderful. They are super convenient and helpful. I email them the glasses I need and they do the rest for me. Online services can't even compare to their customer service. When I went in for my eye appointment a year ago Dr. Shea was professional and personable. Seriously, if you are looking for a new optometrist this is the office to go to.

The appointment was great! Quick and efficient service. The doctor was friendly and treated my mother well. Once the exam was done, they helped my mother find the perfect lenses (many options) and helped us get the best prices possible. Overall, a wonderful experience. The only downside was that the office was not as “fancy” as other optometrists’ offices as it is inside of a Target, but they treated us very well and the entire process was quick and efficient.

This is the worst eye care possible. I’ve been waiting for over 2 months for my new glasses. They came in once and the bifocals were almost as big as the lenses. The lady told me that she would order them right away and that was over 2 weeks ago. They never answer the phone and the voice mail is full I have to actually go to the office to talk to a live person . I do not recommend them for anything. There mission says improving quality of life through excellence in eye care and patient experience. Well my experience was terrible.

Great people, Dr. Nancy Tsui was absolutely fantastic...But, (A) Incorrect posting of Open Hours and, (B) Finished glasses availability was 2+ weeks late. Details: (A) Open times and days not listed on their website. Google business profile says open Thursdays. But they are not open any Thursdays except last Thurs of month by appointment. Wasted an hour (driving). I submitted open hours correction to Google. (B) Was told glasses would be available at about 3 weeks. Called at 5 + weeks wondering if they had arrived yet. Late.

I will agree with the previous review. The scheduling department needs training and being on hold for long periods of time frustrating. But unfortunately, they are not the only medical group where I have experienced this situation. Once you make it to your appointment, I give them 5 stars. I have found the medical staff professional, efficient and seems caring. We have been going to them for two years and our family will continue to use them.

Today was my first visit and my experience from start to finish was fantastic. The office is really nice and the staff are friendly and helpful. The doctor was very thorough in her exam and listened intently to all of my concerns. I walked in having a difficult time seeing with contacts, and the doctor spent quite a while with me trying different options until everything was just right. They have a large selection of frames and have knowledgable staff to help work through options, cost, etc. I would highly recommend OC Eye Designs!

All of the staff at OC Eye Designs Optometry are extremely friendly & helpful. Dr. Wald is excellent & explains all of your eye test results throughly and addresses all of your eye issues or concerns. I totally recommend her to anyone located in OC to either her Costa Mesa or Irvine offices. Thank you all for a great experience. Thanks again - Dave.

I had a wonderful experience at OC Eye Designs. The staff was extremely helpful from the minute I walked in. Dr. Shafi was very professional and explained everything very clearly. Sherri was amazing. She took her time with me, helping me find the perfect frames and providing honest feedback. Overall I was very impressed.

Dr. Tran and his team are incredibly kind and I am so grateful for everything he has done for my elderly parents. He was incredibly patient with my mother who has dementia and my father who is hard of hearing. It was so clear that he is the kind of doctor that actually cares about his patients and their well-being - not like other doctors who do the bare minimum so they can rush and move on to their next appointment (thus making it more about quantity vs. quality). Dr. Tran was compassionate towards my parents and explained their conditions to me in a way that I could understand. Each of my parents were essentially blind in one eye and could only partially see out of their other eye. I was distraught and heartbroken but we were able to get glasses for my parents in the interim and Dr. Tran referred us to an amazing ophthalmologist. I never would have known about their condition if it weren't for taking a chance on Dr. Tran and Atlas Optometry. My parents never once communicated that they were unable to see. When asked about their vision, my parents just assumed it came along with "being old" and didn't think anything could be done about it. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Tran for his help in restoring my parents' vision and increasing their quality of life. Atlas Optometry doesn't only cater to elderly patients. His office has an array of really stylish frames and I ended up getting my eyes checked and realized I needed new glasses as well. I found a pair of Tiffany's glasses that I really liked but was concerned about the price. To my surprise, not only was Dr. Tran and his team incredibly kind, but the office carried a wide variety of really affordable frames. I love my new glasses! This really is a special place. I wish I had encountered more doctors and places like this while navigating my parents' health. Not to sound too sappy, but you should really check this place out and give them a try.
