Dr Holt and staff are absolutely wonderful! Robert, the optical manager helped me pick out the cutest frames. I get so many compliments!

It's always a great experience having my annual eye check with Dr. Fechtel at Active EyeCare of Surprise. Both Dr. Fechtel and the office staff are great. I always feel well taken care of and confident that my eye care is in great hands!

Excellent Eye Care facility!! The staff is so friendly and helpful…this is rare in Arizona as the support staff at most medical facilities are rude and condescending, yet they still keep their job! Oh well, no worries at this practice. The doctor was thorough, friendly, and professional. When I finished I was satisfied that I had the best exam and accurate prescription. Picking glasses was fun as the support staff were amazing and allowed as much time as I needed. I highly recommend this eye practice!!

My son had to be seen immediately for his eye that was possibly scratched. We called Active EyeCare and they said to come in on the spot. We had never been here before. They worked him in and he saw Dr Fechtel within 10 minutes of arrival. From the receptionist who took our call to the exam, the level of care here is absolutely exceptional.

Dr. Smith was very welcoming and thorough throughout the whole visit. Her kind and caring demeanor immediately put my daughter at ease, which made the entire visit enjoyable. She wasted no time in providing a solution!

Very pleased with my visit today. Dr.Rachael Smith was very thorough yet efficient. I had no wait time and was able to get my eye exam done and get back to my little ones at home quickly. She made sure my contacts felt right and fit correctly. Overall, very pleasant experience.

My visit with Dr. Smith was so perfect! I felt completely comfortable and genuinely cared for! I did not feel intimidated whatsoever. She answered my questions, I did not feel rushed and I understood everything when I left.

I want to edit my previous review, I was called back by the manager a couple days after I sent the email and was willing to do the exchange for me. She was very kind and helpful as I went in. Got my new glasses about 2 weeks later and love them, thank you! I purchased contacts and 2 pairs of glasses at this location. One of the workers contacted me to let me know that my contacts had arrived. I then told her that one of my glasses, I didnt like after all and if I could exchange them. I also asked how long I had to take them in. She told me it was fine and I had 1 year. I went in 4 months later since she said I had a year, and the woman in the front was very rude and told me that I was to late for an exchange. After I had told her what I was told over the phone, she said she couldn't do anything about that and would have her manager who was on vacation call me. No one has called me and its been 2 weeks since I went in.

Surprised this place has a 4.3 review score. They must delete the bad reviews. I will post one anyway in the hopes someone will see it before wasting money here. I had purchased a pair of glasses just shy of 4 months ago. I had the lens fall out and went to see if I can get them repaired. I was shocked to hear they were not under any warranty but i could purchase another frame for 25% off as that was the current sale. I had to laugh. You want me to spend $200 on another pair of glasses so they can break in a few months??? This is a terrible place that dose not stand by their product. I will never go here for glasses again

Yesterday I had an eye exam and ordered new glasses. Today I got a text saying I have an appointment for Monday, Dec 2 at 9:45. There is no Mon. the 2nd, nor do I have an appt. Forget phoning! "Amelia" cannot take care of anything relating to customer concerns or questions. You will be losing business if people have to deal with a robot every time they call Had the same problem at another location that I was referred to because I have to have an additional eye test that your office can't provide. Because of "Amelia" I had to drive 19 miles just to to get scheduled with the same doctor.

Completely livid from my experience here today. I came in for a routine appointment, they recommended some other exams when I arrived which I agreed to and there were a lot of people in the waiting room, so I completely expected a long wait. I sat there for about 30-45 minutes while I watched everyone get called in. I then approached a woman at the front desk about the wait and how much longer it would be, she said she doesn't work in the check-in department but that she would ask someone and have them follow up. No one did. About 20-30 minutes later, I approached the desk again to see how much longer I should expect to wait so I can run down to my car. They were stunned that I hadn't been called back yet and told me the'd see what's going on. About 5-10 minutes later the front desk ladies tell me that they "lost my chart" (whatever that means in such a tiny place) but that they can see me ASAP. So I asked about how long should I expect the appointment to be and they said another 1-1.5 hours! Immediate no considering I'd already been there for over an hour. The best they could do for me was to schedule me ASAP or Saturday... I completely understand that accidents happen, and that's why I didn't let my anger take over the final conversation with them. Needless to say, I won't be returning here for my vision care at all. The wait was way too long, even for an error. Not to mention, I did bring it up sooner, and STILL was left sitting there. Super upset. That is all. Zero stars. P.S. I just remembered something else. This appointment was a RESCHEDULED appointment because THEY canceled the previous one. 🙃
