When I made the appt I asked If he accepted Anthem and gave my member ID. Went to the appointment thinking no copay as my insurance covers medical and eye exams at zero copay. When I went there he said that my visit would cost $50. When I asked he said insurance only covered routine and he would do other tests and that would be not be covered and my copay was $50. He NEVER ONCE said that he is not in network with Anthem and that was my coinsurance because he was out of network. Disgusting, money hungry doctor. AVOID THiS CREEP!!!
I have filed a grievance with Anthem. I will also file with Medicare.

Jade Optical is quality care close to home. My husband and I have been their patients for some years. Easy, friendly check-in, minimal waiting for the Doctor. The staff is friendly and very supportive. Dr. Cabrera is fabulous. He takes his time to explain all the results and options and spends extra time explaining new options that might be available if needed. He discovered a condition in my eye that no other doctor had before, and referred me to an amazing specialist. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Jade Optical. They have a beautiful selection of designers eye glasses. Highly recommend it!

One of the best medical offices I’ve ever visited! Always seen on time, friendly and helpful staff, and they validate parking (up to one hour). Dr. Paikal explains what’s going on during eye exam and has an excellent rapport with his patients.

My daughter has had very bad eye sight, double vision, her right eye crosses inward, and other issues. I am glad we were able to be seen by Dr. Leon and his male assistant. They are absolutely amazing doctors. They took their time with my daughter, figured out all the problems that were occurring, and we are now finding solutions to fix these eye problems. My daughter and I are grateful for this. We now have answers, but most importantly, we have clarification as well.

If I could give 0 Stars for the guy who takes your eyeglasses frame measurements I would!! same goes for the female eye doctor. They both lack people skills. The only folks who deserve a 5 star are the receptionist!!!
Don't waste your hard earn money in this place.

I had a very frustrating experience in this place. The technician (I don’t know if she is) was rude and did not even come near me to talk. When booked for my appointment over the phone, I made sure that they’re going to accept my insurance and was told that I only pay $20 for an eye exam. However, when I went there, the lady technician (on duty on 9/2/2023 at 1:30PM) said that they’re not accepting my insurance and I had to pay $100. Not only that, she just sat there in the room while I was in the waiting area. I felt discriminated that time as if I have an infectious disease that she did not even bother to come near me to talk. The customer service is severely poor and I would never recommend this to anyone.

On the Friday before Memorial Day, I woke up with a grey cloud in my left eye. My ophthalmologist saw me immediately and sent me to Dr. Sedeek, who was waiting for me to arrive. He subsequently diagnosed me with Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion (BRVO) and treated my symptoms, which soon resolved. He has been monitoring me ever since and I have actually had another BRVO in the same eye, which is also being treated. Dr. Sedeek is an amazing doctor... caring, professional, thorough, empathetic, and very well-educated in his field. I have complete confidence in his abilities. In addition, he has an excellent Staff at both of his office locations. Mary, the receptionist is so competent and helpful and all of his assistants are friendly and kind. I highly recommend Dr. Sedeek.

When I first called for an appointment, the woman who answered the phone stated they did not accept my insurance despite their office being listed on the insurance company's website. She didn't say she would check ... she just stated that they did not. Of course I checked with my insurance company and they confirmed my insurance. I made an appointment for Tuesday at 1:40 PM. Unfortunately, due to a car accident on Telegraph, I was 10 minutes late. When I arrived, I was told that there was a 10 minute grace period and I would have to reschedule. I am an individual who values time ... not only my own, but the professionals that care for my health. Had I known about the 10 minute grace period (which was not mentioned in the copious amounts of literature sent to me) I would have called the office while waiting for police to clear the roads. Needless to say, I'll be taking my health care needs elsewhere and advising my senior group to do the same.

Wonderful staff and doctor! Clean, friendly. Very patient explaining and answering my questions. Wonderful working with my two girls who had never been to an optometrist before (age 10 and 7) making them feel comfortable with the process. I would and have recommended to friends to come here
