This place was weird. The male at the desk was rude and weirdly condescending. Dr. Martin was also extremely condescending the entire appointment. I was told at the front desk that I could do drops for dilation or camera, but the camera would be an extra $39. I chose drops because I have done it before and I don't mind getting them done. The lady technician looked at my chart weirdly and said "we want everyone to do camera. I will let it go this time and give it to you for free but next time you will get charged." Why give the choice then. I have LOVED Dr. Tyler in the past but his colleague Dr. Martin who I saw this time was rude and extremely unprofessional. He constantly talked down to me and told me how people my age are stupid. It was honestly a terrible experience and I am surprised by all the high reviews.

Both Dr. Chung and the technician were very personable and uber thorough with the exam. A pleasure to deal with. A friend recommended her and we're glad they did 😃! Just had my second visit with Dr. Chung and her staff. They continue to be very thorough excellent to work with. I would highly recommend them. ***** Again!

Dr. Tuten has no personality at all very hard to talk to and couldn't figure out why I was having issues with my contact lenses. Went to America's Best and they figured it out.

Went to Bennett & Bloom for lens replacement surgery as an elective out of pocket surgery in Nov & Dec 2022. After several months of still cloudy vision, went back and was told I needed to have YAG treatment to break up the scar tissue/newly created cataract. It seems that this wasn't included in the original $9,000 that I paid for and I'm now being charged an additional $1,000 for this procedure on both eyes. I am very regretful of having this surgery and if I had known this additional procedure wasn't covered, I may have decided to suffer through the cloudy vision or checked with my Optometrist to see if they would have charged less to do the YAG treatment. I am very disappointed.

So far so good! Great staff and great eye doctor. The eye doctor makes dilating your eyes with eye drops optional, but still is able to provide an accurate eye glasses prescription. Expect to spend a lot of money. The prices are not cheap and probably are not covered on your health insurance or, it may be covered with minimal reimbursement. For example, my insurance paid $20 out of the $130 Eye Society eye exam cost and $20 out of the $600 eye glasses and nothing for blue light and other lense options. So don't expect to get out of Eye Society for cheap. This is the place you go if you are willing to pay for top end glasses and good service.🦄🌈

Dr.Shetty is an outstanding Ophthalmologist and Eyev Surgeon. Without his care, I would be blind in my left eye, considering the deteriorating physical condition and high eye pressure prior to my first appointment with Dr. Shetty. If you are getting nowhere, at your current Ophthalmologist, I urge you to contact Florida Eye Specialist to schedule an appointment.They have many excellent Ophthalmologists. I highly recommend Dr, Rajesh Shetty, especially if your problems are severe. He has been phenomenal in improving my sight, and physical condition of both eyes. The quality of my life has immensely improved under his expert care. He is very dedicated, caring, and competent. He, also, makes you feel comfortable upon the first meeting.
