Dr. DEWAN really cares about this patients like they are his own family...my husband has had both eyes done and will not have to have glasses anymore....Dr. dewan is great and very professional......

I don't normally write reviews, but this place exceptionally annoyed me. I had an appointment at 8 am which is the same time the office opens. Rather than have patient's wait inside, they lock the door and force a line of patients to form outside in the cold. A lady came up to unlock the door, turned around, and sat at her desk. No "good morning," no holding the door open for the elderly man she made eye contact with through the door, nothing. We all file in to check in for our appointment. When it's my turn, I'm given an electronic pad to sign forms. I am not shown the forms I'm signing nor am I asked if I would like to read the forms I'm signing. The last straw is the billing. I have Eyemed which includes a $10 copay for exam and $0 copay for contact lens exam. I am told as a new patient, I will be charged the copay plus $75 for being a new patient needing a new prescription for contact lens. I ask why my insurance won't cover this and am told it's a fee Koch eye charges on top of insurance. Why would I pay for vision insurance if I'm only going to be charged an arbitrary fee on top of my copay because they're unhappy with my insurance's reimbursement? I cancelled my appointment and immediately left. At no point was I told while booking the appointment for my contacts that this fee would apply or that it even existed. I can have an eye exam at the optical shop in Walmart or Target for less and likely be treated better as well.

BEST OPTOMETRIST OF COUNTLESS IVE BEEN TOO :) i absolutely love it here! my experience was great. they have outstanding expertise and are truly supportive of patients. doctors educated me thoroughly as a patient and were completely transparency/honest through it all. they don't waste patient time or money, they actually go out of their way to save patients considerable money. my intake was a little rushed and sloppy, but i plan to become a loyal patient here

I enjoyed my experience here. They have adjusted the typical eye doctor visit to Covid standards very well. I always felt like I was a priority, and everyone on staff communicated with me very well, and other patients, too. …

I've been here a few times. Actual doctor visits were fine, but bad experiences with the staff that I should have expected after reading reviews. Once I was waiting for my appointment and the receptionist would complain every time the phone rang and she had to answer it. Today I called to ask a question about my upcoming appointment and they immediately put me on hold. I waited 15 minutes before hanging up and calling back. Ended up cancelling my next appointment.

Very positive experience. Courteous, helpful and thorough. Will definitely return for my next eye exam.

I've been coming to Levin for 20yrs with my kids and I love that they remember you and treat you like family. Their customer service is amazing plus if you don't have insurance,the prices are excellent,I would highly recommend!!
