From the moment I walked into the vision center I was greeted in a friendly manner. Michael, Trista and Heidi were beyond professional and helpful. All three went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were fulfilled. I have purchased eyeglasses in many different places over the years, but I will never shop anywhere else but this vision center in the Wilmington Walmart. I can’t thank them enough for their assistance and attention to detail.

Super friendly staff, professional service every time and affordable eye care. I take my eyes nowhere else. Big thank you to Dr Ayn Upton and the entire crew at Eyeworks.

I've been trying to make an appointment for my son with them for 4 days now and everytime I call, no matter what time during the day it is, calling multiple times a day, whoever is at the front desk sends me to voice-mail. Very unprofessional.

Staff did a great job at making us feel welcomed and being patient with us. I am a single mom of some high energy kiddos age 4& 5. Staff was not rude or disrespectful, even gave the kiddos a pair of play sunglasses to help keep occupied :) The visit was timely, not long wait time at all, easily scheduled appts online, it was clean, overall, very impressed with the doctor who took time with my 5 year old during her appt. She also explained exactly what was going on with her vision. You can tell this is a compassionate group of people. Thanks team!!

Place will not accept kids without Covid vaccinations. A few months ago, they had appointments without kids needing Covid vaccinations. ***Even if they are fully immunized per State requirements*** they now have to have it--explained by the receptionist. In fact, there was never a mention of anyone needing the Covid vaccination from the last appointment. Adults are understandable, but there is no mandate for 5-6 year olds. This use to be a staple in the Mission, Las Portales always housed businesses to represent the people, now this.

Dr. Damian and her staff are absolutely amazing. We came to her by referral to get glasses for my myself and my sister. She and her assistants have such a great way with children - they made her very comfortable and happy to come. They presented options and choices in ways that are easy to understand and never try to sell you! Trust her with your eyes! Excellent experience! I love that Dr. Damian took the time to answer all the questions you have. Will be coming back soon!

Dr Olayanju is very patient and explains everything she is doing and why. She has made me more aware of what is going on with my eyes. I highly recommend her.

What an absolutely amazing experience. Prior to the process my anxiety was through the roof. And they did everything possible to make me comfortable. I would highly recommend LASIK if you were glasses or contacts, to at least come in for a consultation to see if LASIK is something that you would be a candidate for.

The Dr and Nurse was GREAT!!!!!! However, the receptionist is HORRIBLE. That attitude and rude personality is not becoming. When making the appointment on the phone she was direct, I felt rushed and as if I was an inconvenience. I let that go because I understand one can get overwhelmed or busy. But when I came to check in, she saw me stand in front of the window and continued her PERSONAL conversation with the nurse for about 30 seconds. NOTHING work related. After she was done, THEN she said, "NAME". So I responded, "GOOD MORNING". She then rolled her eyes, typed something in the computer and then got up and walked away. Maybe to blow off steam. I don't know. Then she came back, and told me to have a seat. I've NEVER seen such poor customer service at a Dr's office before. Apparently, no concern or value for her job. That experience alone will have me seek Healthcare. Elsewhere.

Young buyer beware. I came earlier this year to get my prescription glasses and they charged me $100 more than they typically would otherwise. I found out from an older friend of fine, and I found out after that they charged them significantly less. The favoritism won't show but beware if you're a young customer.

This office has taken care of my family and children for years. Their staff is always accommodating and helpful. Their optician is knowledgeable and always ensures that our glasses are correct and just the way we want them. Dealing with insurance can sometimes be stressful but their staff makes the process easy.
