Dr Lau and team are meticulous in checking eye health — turns out I’ve been wearing too strong of an rx the last few years! I’ve been wearing glasses for 30 years and am a happy new patient, I won’t be going back to the chain optical stores. My appointment at Beverly Hills Vision Group didn’t feel like just another tedious medical appointment. I have the correct prescription now and the team helped me pick out a beautiful new pair of Thierry Lasry sunglasses. Highly recommend for top notch care and a frame collection that has been curated by one of the most thoughtful optometrists in the field.

Been 6 months since my surgery and I have no regrets about getting LASIK done. The staff and doctors are all top notch and have always been so enthusiastic and flexible with working with you. Highly recommend doing a consultation, it’s free. So why not. You won’t regret it. It was the best decision of my life.

Unprofessional, rude, overbooked. The facility is dirty. Looks like it is rarely cleaned. The doctor's nurse who goes into rooms is rude. I took my father in for the first visit. We had a plan of action and by the third visit they changed the plan, found new info, and the inky reason we found out was because inhad to ask why the plan for treatment changed. We will not be returning.

From start to finish I could not have had a more positive experience. Dr Chu and his team are the best of the best! I looked forward to each visit and always left satisfied. Most importantly…I’ve never seen more clearly, thank you Chu Vision Team!

Great service and help. Sought a last minute appointment to fix a broken pair of glasses, to which they were more than helpful, also squeezing me in for an overdue eye test and helping me resolve my issue and get new glasses sorted.

Dr. Philbrick at this location lacks customer service and is very insensitive. My daughter came here for an exam and to try out contacts. The Dr. made multiple snarky remarks about my daughter's eyes being big and bulging. He constantly insisted that she get her thyroid checked and blamed her vision on that although my daughter has been checked and does not have thyroid issues. He made a remark stating that he has had Asian patients with smaller eyes than her that had no issue putting in contacts and that as big as her eyes are she should've been able to put the contacts in with no issue. He also mentioned how a dump truck could drive through her eyes because of how big they are. Those remarks were not needed. We will not be returning.

I never understood the value of a dedicated optician until I found Copperstate Optical. We discovered Copperstate because we were tired of cheap Costco frames breaking after three months of wear. Between myself, my wife, and my children, we have now purchased something like seven or eight pairs of glasses from Copperstate in the last four years, and every single pair is still completely functional--we only have to go back for new glasses when our prescriptions change. Plus, most places won't do rimless lenses these days. Why? Because they are difficult to do right, and doing warranty replacements can get expensive. Copperstate will do them, and warranty them, because Copperstate is just that good. They've done custom-shaped lenses for me, and they even updated the prescription in my son's good frames without trying to sell us more frames. The only warning I have about Copperstate is that you will not walk out of Copperstate with a $99 pair of glasses. Expect to pay $200-$400. But then expect to get more than your money's worth, because nobody else in the north valley comes anywhere close to Copperstate in terms of quality workmanship. Having a dedicated, capable craftsman create my lenses has been a revelation.
