Dr. D. J. Ekholm has been my eye specialist since he started his early career. I drive over 100 miles one way to see him. You could not find a better optometrist anywhere in Michigan or any state. He found problems that my opthalmologist did not find He saved my vision! Fantastic doctor. Everyone should go to Wallace Optical in Lansing to see him!

A couple of days ago my eye suddenly became inflamed. The next day the situation worsened and I decided to consult my doctor, Dr. Gray, who has been treating me and all my relatives for many years. I admit, I didn’t have an appointment, but I still decided to go, because it was dangerous to wait for many days. To my joy, all the employees, from the front desk to Dr. Gray himself, responded to my request to accept me with such attention and desire to help, for which I am infinitely grateful to them all. These are people with a kind heart and soul and I wish them all to live happily ever after! My eye is getting better!

The doctor is funny and very knowledgeable. He caught potential issues that other optometrists have missed for years. I am grateful for him. Doctor is great but I came to leave a review about the staff. The staff at this office will have you in stitches and wanting a 3rd pair of eye glasses! They’re very very smart and they knows how to best help you and your pocketbook. The front desk and eyeglass specialists worked with me on a strategy to maximize my insurance benefits and recommended cost saving options! You will not regret working with them. I was so impressed I made appointments for every member of my family.

Her staff is very personable and very professional. Dr. Bala explained the process to me and put me at ease. I had both eyes done and my eye sight is 20/20. I’m so happy I got it done. Best thing I’ve done in a while for my self. Procedure was painless and my eyes healed up great. She’s a great eye doctor. Very pleasant and professional. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking to get help for cataract surgery. 🥰

I’ve been doing Ortho-K at this place for more than 8 years and the Ortho-K contacts improved my vision a lot. It helped a lot for everyday activities since my vision is quite poor. Recommend this place for those looking for vision improvements!

Dr. Barr is the best. I love her personality and manner toward personalized care. She is only the third eye care Dr. to take care of me and I am 69. I stayed with two others for many many years until their passing and was lucky to find Dr. Barr to take over my eye health needs.

Dr. Alan Jackson was friendly and easy to talk to. He was very knowledgeable and performed the exam thoroughly and efficiently.

First off, the staff at Lasik Vision Institute are wonderful! They were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful during all my appointments. The procedure went well. The eye surgeon was great as well. The procedure itself was not painful, just a bit uncomfortable, and the recovery is not too bad either. They tested my vision 5 days after the procedure, and my vision is 20/15! I'm so happy to be able to see clearly without having to use glasses!
